I just adore this years lineup of actors. I’ve really enjoyed hearing more about their performances & careers. Cillian Murphy especially is someone who has gone quietly under the radar & I know he’s a humble, non-Hollywood person but my god what a talent! I’m cheering for him to win SAG, BAFTA & that OSCAR. He gave the performance of a lifetime in Oppenheimer. Just magnificent work from him in such a complex, challenging iconic role.

As someone who was always told you had to go to college to be successful, I’m really glad to hear him say “college drop out” out loud. If you don’t want to go to college, don’t. Go to trade school, take an apprenticeship, learn on the job. Do what works for you. He’s proof it can work out just fine.
