That's what I tell my friends, my mom was still in college when she had me so she would take me with her to college, she would usually leave me with the librarian (I guess that's why I love reading) but then a friend of hers would take me and so on. She says that once she left me in the library with a pale pink dress and when she got me back it was all dirty. So yeah, I was in college when I was a baby!

I had a classmate in nursing school who brought her baby to school twice a week-the baby was so well behaved. He slept during the entire time. We used to look forward to seeing him and we always took little gifts for him. And yes, he was at our graduation. We made him a little cap and gown.

This needs to be more acceptable in the future. I know babies can be annoying and distracting especially if they’re loud lol, but there’s a lot of parents who either can’t afford daycare (which isn’t ideal anyway) or don’t have someone to watch their baby. Bringing them to work where you can attend to them while you work isn’t a bad idea. Obviously it depends on the workplace, and I think workplaces she be more well equipped to handle babies. Only foolish bosses who think people can laser focus for 8 straight hours (impossible) would dislike it. They tried to do this in South Korea I believe

Agreed. She is amazing. I would be so grateful to her. I had to drop out! I wish I had that support. This is a beautiful gesture and thanks to her that young mother will have a future and be able to provide a better life for her child. I wish they had schools, not only a teacher or professor but schools like this. If young mothers could bring their baby to school so that they can finish their education, we would have a lot more successful younger parents. It's obviously not ideal but imagine if a lot of young mothers had this option.

my math teacher did this last semester, the baby was a year old and she went around the classroom holding her and whenever the baby would make a noise, my teacher would nod and normally say "exactly!" as if she had answered a question and it was just the cutest thing XD

My mom used to take me to class when I was like 3 or 4 years old, I only have some small memory snippets because I was so young, but I was the star of the class. I really enjoyed going there and getting spoiled by the other students and teachers. It was a practical textile design class, so I still have some of the items I crafted while I was there.

I really appreciate any efforts to make children more accepted in more social situations!

Props to this mom! She went to school all throughout her pregnancy, and when she gave birth she continued her studies. So many women either quit school when they get pregnant, or don’t comeback after they give birth.

There would be a greater chance for these young mothers to be successful and provide a better life for their child if they choose to take this type of an opportunity. I think it's amazing and positive. You're only seeing the negative and spouting out your opinions as to what u think is right for them.
