She'd built her following this very same way the first time around. She used to always say, "Spread more love, not hate," while saying and doing some seriously awful things while in her character as Miranda. But because her followers were told to take it all with love and not question anything, they were blind to it for years.

I don't think you've got down the definition of empathy; a trait she denied her victims and will continue to miss the mark on. Learning about herself and calling it a spiritual or alluding to it being a spiritual journey is lowkey narcissistic/more manipulation of her audience. Empathy would be her talking directly to the victims through the camera, apologizing clearly and precisely, keeping it short and sweet, and saying something like "if i had been you," or "i can't even imagine how that was for you," those examples of relating to the victim/person who suffered are considered empathetic, because you're not just feeling sorry for them but you're actively trying to imagine being them (putting shoes in other's foot - one of major features of empathy) and the horror of everything. Yeah she's incapable of that clearly by now. Nevertheless, you could say all this and people would still say you're being phony. Ah, she's just gonna do what she wants i'm done ha

What I've noticed is that her PR team really want her to mention that " SHE IS A MOM" as much as possible so the public can feel some sort of sympathy for her. I used to watch Colleen's vlogs and feel sympathy and compassion for her and care about her hobbies. I no longer care. I feel like she is a liar and I can't trust a word that comes out of her mouth. She is so self obsessed and I'm over it

The insane thing is that if she took accountability, apologized and made some kind of reparations she probably could continue her work, but her COMPLETE inability to see herself... i hope she never gets large platforms again.

Any accountability and reparation that involves her still having a platform would not be enough accountability or reparation. She groomed, exploited and traumatised her fans with her platform. In California, where she lives, there are people who have done less than she has who are on the sex offender registry. If everyone were treated equally and if bringing criminal charges wasnt traumatising to victims, she would be too. She met Adam in a different country to where he lived and told him not to bring his parents. (That’s potentially a crime) She left him alone there (that’s potentially a crime) She sent nudes to minors (that’s a crime) She sent those nudes without the consent of the person that they were of (that’s a crime). Accountability would mean criminal sentences.

@@quadling3521 for the record i support her getting a criminal sentence, but if you know about CA law then you know for every person that HAS faced accountability, there are 10 times more people who didnt (ie: every cop who's literally murdered people and walked away with a slap on the wrist and paid leave). I wasn't saying i support her having a platform, im just saying she wouldnt be having as hard of a time regaining her platform if she had. I dont personally want her to have a platform at all, she could be under the jail for all i care.

When I used to watch her daily vlogs, she used to say a lot that she would try not to daily vlog as much. And I’m sure she said that near the beginning of the year in 2021 and 2022. She always ends up daily vlogging anyways because it’s her biggest source of income. As for touring, I hate to predict but I do think she’s trying to get it started again. She did this whole thing during the pandemic about how she isn’t sure people would by tickets and want to see her tour. And of course, there were comments and her fans said they’d see her on tour so she formed a tour. If she doesn’t start touring at the end of this year it’ll be in 2025. (I’m not in support of Colleen this is all predictions based on how she acted when I use to watch her)

i used to watch her everyday too, and i didn’t even think about the “hinting at touring” thing or that she used to say she would stop vlogging (but then come back the next day saying she missed us)

This just gets more embarrassing. Of course the child groomer wants to move on. Of course she wants to “focus on positivity” but she’s only saying all this to save face. People with awful morals, overall just bad people always try to save themselves by saying “moving forward I’m only focusing on POSITIVE vibes.” But if Colleen had focused on positive vibes to begin with then maybe she wouldn’t have sent porn and underwear to under age children. I wish she would be tried in court for her actions because it’s just sick.

every time something new happens w this situation it makes it even more hard to understand her perspective. i used to watch her vlogs everyday b4 the summer, and i just don’t understand how she doesn’t c the hurt she caused. watching her pretend nothing happened and writing off the summer as a cancellation is very manipulating. it makes me wonder how many times when i watched her originally she was just making up every little thing she said.

Girl, the negativity in your life was all caused by YOU. Nobody else. YOU did this to yourself and, unfortunately, many other people. Think about how bad your victims’ year went when you called them liars and refused to take any accountability whatsoever. One thing I find really unsettling is she genuinely thinks she’s done nothing wrong. She’s talking about bettering herself but in her eyes it’s because she’s the victim and needs to heal. When you do something of that stature to someone and they come on to your platform to say how they feel about you, and you make yourself the victim of every situation you start to believe you are one. Which Colleen is not. Set a better example for your kids if your not gonna do it online for them to learn.

I love watching these people dressing up all in white , sitting on the floor next to a white bed/couch with white cushions and a white desk next to the bed.....Why nobody tells them this part of manipulation is not manipulating anyone anymore ? ...

She's too old to be a performer for children. Her Netflix show was terrible. The Miranda character needs to retire. She feels so entitled to the career she used to have...it's over.

I don’t know how colleen can grow and learn when she refuses to admit what has happened. She either needs to admit what she did or provide proof that she is innocent if that’s what she is still claiming. Cause pretending nothing happened and stating she’s grown isn’t enough…

Honestly it's hard to believe I was such a big fan for a couple of years when she vlogged in the pandemic. I feel genuinely ashamed for this and I am all for her cancellation considering that she did such illegal things.

It sounds like everything was a feeler to see how many people are on her side still.

what made me sad is I felt really nostalgic watching her video back but I also had a sour taste in my mouth because she was one of my comfort KZreadrs for so long and the fact that she did this and I was oblivious to this for so long just really upset me

i still don't understand how some influencers can roam free and still be horrible ppl with no repercussions. like these grown-ass people have the nerve to say that all the allegations and criticisms against them are false even tho they've been called out time and time again and labeled it as 'hate' when they've been causing CRIMES and HUMAN VIOLATIONS.

I find it alarming that she can't do the bare minimum and just apologize to those she has really hurt. It doesn't even need to be a public thing! simply own up to your actions, apologize, and then move on.

If she didn't keep the money it would be really easy for her to prove it, even just by naming the institutions the money went to so they can confirm, no need for tax returns or bank records...

Someone who asked teen girls questions about their periods, who arranged for a child to travel across his country to see her then abandoned him in the middle of an unfamiliar city? Someone who sent porn of a woman she pretended was her friend to children and organised viewing parties to degrade and mock that same "friend". And that's before we even get into the mediocre yet problematic content she's produced... what's your angle here dude?

She's so clearly very mad about the situation and has absolutely no remorse and doesn't think she did anything wrong. I don't care if she's trying to become a better person, nothing can change what she did in the past. Treating children the way she did is unforgivable, and it makes me sick that she has kids of her own!

imma compare this to my mom real quick... having to accept that you've caused harm or even traumatized someone is hard. It's hard and hurts because you have to accept that part of you has been or still is a bad person. If you lived your life believing you're the victim or the saviour that would never ever cause harm. that's a pretty deep fall. Either you go through that process of acknowledging your mistakes and offering support to your victims OR you don't... and you'll be stuck with that invisible feeling that everyone hates you while you're hurting inside because you know the truth and you'll never leave that cycle of upholding that perfect image you once thought you where.... Imma say it like it is. Colleen wasn't ready mentally to come back to the internet. Her doing it anyway will hinder her process of learning from her mistakes because she's currently confronting herself with criticism that she can't open up to and acknowledge therefore her only option to save her own sanity is to deflect and call everyone else the asshole.

The things that she doesn’t have any control over… like her own actions?

I hope she can get to a place where she can admit to what she has done and truly work through it. Pushing down all those emotions will come back around at some point in her life and who knows what kind of devastation that could bring. On the other hand, if she can truly move on with her life and actually feels no sense of guilt or shame...well that's a whole other set of problems.
