I remember when you started with Ruby a few years ago as I’d just bought a stunning R58 coupe S and was looking for reviews…… mines died unfortunately, written off by a sort of driverless runaway lorry….(that’s a crazy story too :). I loved that car! Especially the rear spoiler! ive only re found your content again in the last 4 months but really chuffed that you’ve come so far on KZread in that time…. Hi Pete I had the Bilsteins B14 under my R53 GP when the oem's were worn. Good set for the money. I like the color of your wheels. I like Ruby but for me a little bit too much badges and stickers on and in her. :) And she deserves some new shiny bolts under the hood instead of the rusty ones. I don't understand why Mulgari didn't change them. It is a cheap "mod" for making the look under the hood nicer. I changed them together with the bolts that are holding the dampers above on my R58. And congrats with your over 200k subs. Greetings from the Netherlands. :)

You did well to get rid of the 'pops & bangs' tune, the DVSA have successfully prosecuted a tuning garage in Wakefield for one with a cat delete. It could have implications for tuners going forward, as they exceed the alowable emissions and drive by noise levels.

Your body doesn't look as though the road is beating you up as you drive! That is a very poignant difference from where I'm sitting. Those lads put in so many lovely, spot-on details, too. I'm sure it was so satisfying to get home and drink in all the changes along with a glass of wine. Superb!

@@PetrolPedhave the kw v2 similar basically and they float over the bumpers but are still stiff I use mine on track and road they are brilliant b14s/b16s or kw are the way forward class above bc etc

My first MINI and current came with sport mode and until I took it on a road trip up the highlands NC500 west coast side I thought it didn’t do anything. It was only when I pulled out after a break after have sports mode on all day and thought “ Oh no what’s up with my Car” and remember I hadn’t pressed it. 😂 Next MINI spec’d with the sports button best £50 option 👍 Right Road-trip is needed in it. Monaco with Mrs P or back up take Joe A sharing the driving.

Great stuff. And how nice that even with everything else you drive, it still gets you like it does. I remember back in my Subaru days having them mapped by the late JollyGreenMonster aka Simon. We once mapped it on the road 😂. Then after that on a rolling road, but it transformed the car. Got a few jobs to do on my 981, tyres being one, and you’ve just given me the inspiration!!.

Hello Pete. after i watched your first video of ruby i had to get a roadster. i got it about 6 yrs ago but it was my only car so it was my daily. i thought i'd be practical so got a diesel but still didn't regret it. on the facebook page you remarked the colour was stunning. i loved that car but because of ulez it had to go. a few weeks ago when i first saw the video about what you were going to do with ruby my heart sank thinking you were getting rid of her. how glad am i that you've done what you have because i would never use a car like this on a track so a road focused r59 in my eyes is perfection. please, have fun with her and if you ever just end up with one car in your garage let it be Ruby. P.S you could always put a basket on the bike for the pooches

Fantastic update for Ruby, Pete . I really like what Mulgari has done Darren certainly knows his stuff. I'm just wondering, Pete, are you going to have locking wheel nuts with the costs of your tyres and wheels ?. I always have locking nuts on my cars I don't trust anyone on carparks. Happy motoring again you lucky person. I bet your wife will be getting the keys back again for work it'll be a battle. It's well worth updating Ruby.

I think I need someone like Darren to work some magic on my Fiesta ST150 as I’m thinking of changing as it’s not as refined as I’d like and I no longer get the same excitement driving it. Looks great. Good idea to move the 65 series 1 E Type out the back ground. 😂.

Looks, sounds and goes fantastic! There’s a lot to be said for good tuners who can map really well. Collins Performance and Litchfield are another set of brilliant tuners. The only other thing that might be worth doing is the fog lights on the grille could do being changed as the lenses look a bit dull compared to the headlights. Easy change though 😊
