My grandpa used to own vending machines, he always told me before scouting a location "look where the people like to congregate, churches, schools, colleges, those are my money makers but I'm also there every week restocking" and I guess it's true building a relationship with the people you're renting space with is also key, since sometimes they'll lower your rent lol, awesome video, reminded me of simpler times.

Maybe add credit card machines and see if that boosts sales

How much does one machine cost. If he spends around 3k for one, he would have to wait around 2.5 years to make enough money to pay it off. Then he has to re stock the things and that will be extra money. So, if they were in more popular places, that would be much more worth it.(would make a lot off of schools) yes I forgot that I wrote this as I heard 11 machines

You probably answered this question before but do you have to cut a percentage for the locations of the machines?

The 6 vending machines in the lunch room at the Amazon warehouse where I work have to be refilled every day. Sodas, snacks, ramen, sandwiches, etc. They sometimes spit out 1 dollar coins if you're getting a dollar back in change.

You'll LOVE hearing this. I GIVE AWAY my vending machines to guys like you because every laundromat I take over has them locked inside. I NEVER want to do what you do, so I collect a percentage.

That location that only does 40 a month, change the products in the machine and put something they will eat.

What I do is I have a standard contract: basics of the contract 1. guarantee the safety of the machine and cover's intentional damage by employee or customer. 2. set a contract timeline with fees for early termination. I start with 25% of profit to a location owner for 3 months. if the machine does good ill move to my 6-month contract and give a 30% profit to the owner. does amazing 12-month contract and 35% profit to the owner. if you terminate early its $100 a month for contract timeline so a 12-month contract early termination would be $1200 to me or suffer legal actions. but you have to make something payable to them if you early terminate them its a dog-eat-dog world. 3. you have to guarantee machine functionality, cleanliness, and servable food items (so no expired or empty machines) for your location. 4. and other legal stuff needed as you see it. That's the basic's of securing a location

The coins are pretty easy to check just by stacking them there’s no need to check each ones edge Sorry if this is bugging u and u don’t care but since you’re dealing with a TON of coins and bills it’s worth checking them and getting a few extra bucks more then you’re already making Oh and u could switch them out and sell them on you’re own time no need to count them as “income” if u get more then face value for them I had a silver quarter and dime a few years ago and got them checked The dime was worth $3 and the quarter was worth around $5 YES that much for one coin just because they were silver

Since I'm not fluent in the art of vending machines, isnt there a set price for each slot? So when you move your snacks, doesnt that change the price?

How often do you collect the money out of all of these??

it depends on the location som are 1 time every week some are 1 time every other month

It looked like a lot but the reality is they are just 1$ bills.

at the airport location I was surprized there was any Funions left. anytime I go to a vending machine at a airport there always sold out of them.

The newest one is always in the back, and the oldest one is in the front. If he would move just one they would take the newest one first and the old one could be out of date.

Do you pay the property owner a percentage of your earnings? If so what is the percentage?

Won't your bank count bills too ? Thats what the bill counting machines are for and separate ones,fives,tens..ect
