If you hear cracking noise when you start your vehicle check your radiator hose, maybe you have a problem with your coolant reservoir cap.

Also, check your radiator cap. When I checked it, my cap was rusty, the spring was stiff, and I cracked the seal. I installed a new one, and the hoses are back to normal.
I just replaced water pump thermostat and new coolant reservoir.. and this just happened.. could a failed bleed cause this issue other than a bad cap .. because mine is brand new.. 🙏 🆘
I replaced my cap and hoses and it’s still doing it what should I do
I think you run about 120k miles a year? Are you changing out the coolant bottle or hoses on a regular basis or just waiting until they show a problem?

It's actually closer to 150k a year. Not sure if it's smart, but I'm "why fix it if it's not broken" kind of guy.
Is it really the reservoir cap is the fault for collapsed hoses. Mine collapsed on the bottom hose. Pls help. Thanks

If you open the cap and hose goes back to normal then yes, cap is your problem. That's of course if you're not low on coolant
