You could see how he wasn't afraid of dribbling past city's back line in that 4-4 thriller.He's confidence allows the others to trust him more with the ball.He moves purely and he's vision is superb.

as a chelsea fan, when chelsea bought palmer for 45 million, i was shocked and disappointed because we already had Madueke and sterling. Now palmer is playing very well with a few goals and assists. I like his passing and long balls. he has very good vision and is like KDB. 👍

I'm just still not 100% sure about him but I can't put my finger on why. He reminds me a little of Bergkamp, in the way that he refuses to be rushed (he'll do it in his own time and that's it). He's got the same kind of footballing brain too, seeing pictures all over the pitch. There's still a weird tendency to freeze for a split second when he first receives the ball. I can't really explain it but it's there. Other than that (if that's even a bad thing) he looks a fine, fine player. Unfortunately, despite his apparent willingness to work hard for the team, he looks like _exactly_ the kind of player Southgate will mistrust/overlook.

Watching this makes me ask the question how come Chelsea didn't win Brentford. After all the chances this magician created. This just shows Chelsea's need for a prolific no9. Mount is more of a very physical and hardworking midfielder who just runs n do things with more physicality but he wasn't that creative. That's why Chelsea would still struggle to create chances even wen mount is in the pitch playing as a 10. Palmer is something else 🤣, his vision and creativity just makes things easy for him. And whenever he has the ball it's like he already knows exactly wat to do with it to create a chance for someone
