You can't really predict how a player will play under pressure. For Palmer it brought the better out of him and he is a clutch player. There was no data about how he would perform in a new environment. His speed and physical abilities are not that great. His right foot, dribbling, shooting and passing wasn't that good to make it easy to predict his performances and some youth level performances can't really show the whole picture.

My eye test tells me he has terrible delivery and when I watched his video he justified my eye test! Madueke has potential to be a top player but has things he has to work on including his positioning as an inside forward!

He's taken on this responsibility and then some. Considering where other Chelsea players have been rated in potential on the tactical talkboard, Palmer looks a bit low based on how he's performing

This channel is very good but shows it's impossible to predict how good a player will become no matter how much data you use. Maybe there are other non data items that matter? Palmers confidence to leave city like KDB left chelsea all those years ago was telling. I imagine his top level would be revised if another report was produced.

The Waddle comparison is spot on. We don't tend to see that kind of gait and physicality in top level football anymore. McManaman is another that comes to mind although in style he was more direct and jinky. I can't help think that a manager will feel the need to compensate for him in selection and at Chelsea he may struggle to justify such importance, especially when Nkunku is fit
