I love this guy. Humble + fantastic player. One of my fav prem players.

Unlike others I loved this interviewer... so relaxed and refreshing from the usual noisy and affected suspects. Cold was great too.

Seen enough media hits to notice there’s no point for an interviewer asking Cole how he “feels/felt” about something. He doesn’t engage with those questions, especially ones about how “great” he is/was. Ask him questions that call for him to explain or recount something and you get fuller responses.

I think theres something in the fact he doesn't seem to care that makes him such a great player - It's like he doesn't overthink anything.

Lots of comments about her seeming like a Mum interviewing her son and things but really shes actually asked really good questions. Shes really getting to the point of getting out what Palmer is feeling and thinking about everything thats gone on for him so far. Theres some really good insight there as to how he processes his experience. You could show this interview to promising young talents and it could actually be really useful to them for reassurance and tuning their mentality as they eventually find their way through to first team football.

Palmer is one key player to winning this Euros. His speed and dribbling are next level. Guy's a beast.

People will always find something negative to bring someone down. Each human has things he or she's good at but not every thing. If he cared about what everyone superficially says about him, he won't make a single accurate pass. I someone who personally got picked on for being (shy/awkward/introverted), I'll always take the side of people like him. It's not nice at all and I wish I was 5% like him when I was his age.
