I used to work outside in Chicago year round. It's not that bad if you dress for it. You get used to it. When I was 12, I delivered newspapers and I remember one day it was -20 degrees, with a wind chill of -40 degrees. You get used to it if you stay out in it enough.

Not a vegetable in sight for kids to complain about at dinner time 😄. Lots of vitamin C from the berries though and a very healthy diet compared to us in the West. Fish is cheap but meat is expensive it seems - $40 for liver is more than fillet steak here in the UK.

That was like the only thing more expensive there. A lot of the meat was not expensive. The liver was from a foal as well, not an adult horse and I don't think horses in general are slaughtered in the same amount.

@@missJolie85 the average Russian income is only $500/month so I would say that prices are expensive for folks living there. Also, fish prices compared to meat are different in the West, where fish is generally more expensive than meat.

I live in the West and you are heavily generalizing your statement. Where I live the fish price here is about the same as meat. It obviously depends on where you live and if you have coast line or not, maybe even have fish export as part of the economy.

People that grow up in that climate get used to it My cousins from Alabama came up to WV in the 80s in winter to visit to see the snow they about froze to death lol we showed them how to dress in layers and not just the biggest coat you can find they loved it there summers were hot I struggled a lil lol but we'd go to the channel and cool off

I live in the West and you are heavily generalizing your statement. Where I live the fish price here is about the same as meat. It obviously depends on where you live and if you have coast line or not, maybe even have fish export as part of the economy.

This place seems authentic and genuine. The food is organic and healthy. I would love to visit but I couldn't live there. Too cold.

Of course it's not organic, that depends entirely on a control and certification system. People can't seem to understand the basic quality systems, if it's being sold by a babuska = organic 😅
We should all consider this the next time we complain about going to the grocery store . OMG

Living here is coldest weather , not sure if it’s like in antarctica but you got to be tough and get used to it.

i am from the hot climate. the fish and meat is soft we need a freezer to keep it fresh even in winter from dhaka bangladesh. yakustk is a natural freezer in winter it too cold for me dhaka is 28 degrees and sunny and sometimes reaches 35 degrees

I survived hot and humid temperature above 100 degree Fahrenheit for hours but I can’t stand a few seconds anything lower 70 degree Fahrenheit, even with 1 square inch of skin exposed.

People that grow up in that climate get used to it My cousins from Alabama came up to WV in the 80s in winter to visit to see the snow they about froze to death lol we showed them how to dress in layers and not just the biggest coat you can find they loved it there summers were hot I struggled a lil lol but we'd go to the channel and cool off
