Carrying serial #1313, this 1971 “Pushbutton” Pantera is an early production car, being only the 27th example imported by Ford to the United States. A no-expense-spared restoration was completed during the late 2000s under current ownership and they report that less than 100 miles have been traveled since. Currently, the odometer reads just over 35,310 miles.
The restoration of this fascinating early Pantera is reported to have been completed to impeccably correct standards, immeasurably enhanced with the expert consultation of noted Pantera specialist Steve Wilkinson, proprietor of Panteras by Wilkinson. Finished in its factory specified ‘Code 3’ white paint over black leather upholstery and gray square-weave carpeting, the Pantera retains its specific factory equipment and was clearly built for high-speed enjoyment, with the radio deleted and the hot, high-compression 330hp, 351ci V8 engine providing all necessary sounds as power is delivered through the original ZF 5-speed rear transaxle with limited-slip differential.
