The 265 Massey Ferguson was / is a great tractor. We had one bought new. The 3.9 L (4 cly. 236ci. ) Perkins Diesel engine is one of the most reliable motors ever built. It made the 265 a powerful pulling machine for its size, plowing with 3.16's a workhorse.

Those fuses don’t do anything for the ignition. I have the same damn tractor.

Good day We bought 255 new in 1976 I thought battery in front was good idea. Ithink from air coming thur it evaporates quicker, Thanks
