Cold start and plowing with the Massey Ferguson 265 diesel

Who knew all you needed was a hammer to fix a starter problem? I've been doing it wrong all these years!

Yeah it needs a new one really bad I was going to replace it before winter but never got around to it

I plug my tractor in starts right up .

One last thing I have to add... Why are you stopping and starting the tractor with the Multi-Power in high? That is a very bad thing to do to the transmission/multi-power unit. It is designed to be used for engine braking, like when descending on hilly terrain and when transporting at highway speed, as well as it gives a "boost" in ground speed where needed in select field operations, such as when baling hay. Otherwise, the Multi-Power lever should be left in LOW and only used in low for most applications. ALSO, the Multi-Power should ALWAYS be shifted into LOW when changing gears or ranges in the transmission. Try it, and you will be surprised how much better the transmission shifts when Multi-Power is in LOW and NOT HIGH. I'm guessing nobody ever taught you how to operate that transmission, let alone I bet you've not got nor read the Operator's Manual for any of your tractors... Aargh!!!

Turbo Diesel and also it wasn't in high multi-power you must not have watched the whole video because if you did you would watch me put it in high but watch my other video on plowing with it you can see me cheek the oil I edit it out checking it because I didn't think anyone wanted to watch me check the oil put on the other video I didn't so if you want to watch me check the oil there it is

Glad you check the oil. Something that should be performed regularly when using any engine. It's also something that many people do not do properly. You'd probably be surprised by the lack of maintenance I see on equipment on a regular basis. People figure that just because they don't use it daily like their car to go to work, they don't have to maintain their tractor as well. It's amazing to me.
