What do you do to get these things unstuck?

I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish with the Jeep and tow strap, but after 50 years of plowing snow, please allow me to offer some suggestions: 1. R-1 Ag tires do not provide very good traction in snow, particularly with ice underneath. If you're plowing with a rear wheel drive only tractor, invest in a good set of chains. I always run chains when plowing snow; 2. Don't attempt to drive through deep unplowed snow. Lower the plow and clear a path for the machine as you drive. I've lost count of how many plows I've seen stuck [including DOT plows] because they failed to do this; 3. Vehicles typically do not get good traction in reverse. Next time, turn the Jeep around and pull with it in a forward gear; 4. Get the smaller machine stuck and pull it out with the larger machine; If you do get the heavier machine stuck, and you can't pull it with the lighter machine, use the smaller machine as a dead-man and winch the heavier machine out. If you don't have an actual winch a heavy-duty come-along will do fine. A lot more effort but it will work. Happy plowing:-}

Tractor probly doesnt have a locker but that is why they have split brakes or cutting brakes. You brake the tire spinning and it will sent power to the other wheel that should have better traction
