What a coincidence, I’m 35!

My husband and I watched your episodes of building this little sweet camper, we couldn’t wait to see you experiment with it and improve it When we first moved to WV , we bought some property and we lived in a uhaul that my husband converted into a livable camper, it was set up with an inverter and oh my , we made some good memories camping on our land Watching you in this episode brought back so many memories, we too would cook ramen soup and cabbage , on those frigid WV evenings Unfortunately, he passed on November 3 rd of this year 😢 And during his illness and last few months of hospitalization, we missed out your episodes But here I am, staying up late and came across this one on you tube and everything you did brought back memories as he too was Tolkien fan and loved Lord of the Rings Thank you so much!!! I know he is still with me, and watching along with me as well Keep up the adventures, and taking us all along with you !! He also loved Miso soup 😊

He suffered with type 2 diabetes and stage 4 kidney failure , due to the diabetes he became an amputee so he couldn’t enjoy his primitive off grid life anymore But we both enjoyed The Quiet Nerd and the last episode he watched was the self made boat , he thoroughly enjoyed that episode 😊

In my childhood. I suffered a lot because of pneumonia. And I spent days in bed watching my friends having fun in the winter while I was in my room in my bed. My dream was a stroller like this to go out and play with my friends taking my bed. After all, my mother said that I "couldn't get out of bed." Nice video man.

We all built castles and huts out of cardboard boxes as children and the feeling of being in the little cave was great. He took the hut, built a car underneath it and drove it into the forest. You, sir, are my personal hero!

Might wanna treat that wood to protect it from the elements (if it isn't already) . Also you could build a box on the end (or underneath if there's room, maybe one that slides in and out) for putting your boots in as you get in and out so you're not tracking mud. That thing is really cool though, love these vids.

The ingenuity alone to make that kind of vehicle is amazing man.

4.2 btu = 1 watt. You can calculate the power draw against the delta T . :) add some reflective tape to the inside and it will hold heat better, and finally use a small fan to vent out the humidity while cooking and you will be most efficient with what you have already :)

Just a thought but if you used velcro along the wood frame edge and the plastic you could make it a little more air tight to avoid so much drafting and rain getting in. Also if you used some wood and made a little shelf on the outside right next to the entry of the tent you could sit your shoes/boots there to keep them off of the ground. Add in some velcro and could strap them down so don't fall off.

That’s because this channel isn’t dedicated towards the gen Z audience. It’s for a more mature audience. That’s why there isn’t goofy editing to keep them entertained and jump cuts to grab their attention better and keep them engaged. Sadly so many good creators have gone towards the gen Z viewer route so having a few channels still left is good to see. That’s why I enjoy content like this.

@@RED-my9hl guess I am just bitter that I finally found a channel that doesn’t use those things in order to keep people entertained just good ol’ video taping in the woods with himself and nature. None of the extra and unnecessary stuff. Just a man and nature. It’s the humble and simple things that people enjoy, not over the top, wacky, and crazy entertainment. What ever happened to just wanting to enjoy something for the simplicity of it? Everything has to be so crazy and unbelievable that simple stuff is seen as boring and weird. I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to point that out.

Maybe add supports for the tarp to make it an awning. That way you can open the door for ventilation without additional moisture collecting in the camper.

I always listen to rainy tent sounds on loop when I sleep, it's so relaxing, I would love to spend a night in a camper like that 😊

If I saw someone driving that thing, then go mudding in it, I would be laughing for a week!!

This dude got skills for disaster situations. Building this homemade thing is not bad. It's truly amazing what can be done with simple electronics, wood, a set of wheels and some tarp.

for someone like me that always gets bullied call names and just having some issue ,your video make my day like 10 times better man what would i do without you.

Found your channel pretty recently, and not only are we really enjoying your videos, you may have indirectly saved us from a dangerous situation. We live semi off-grid in a trailer and our pump is powered by a 12v battery. After watching your build of this camper, I started looking into upgrading the setup and realized I was continuously charging a lead acid battery in an enclosed space. Couldn't quite justify the cost of a lithium-ion, but ended up swapping it for a nice AGM unit and not only are we no longer getting random headaches and dizzy spells, most likely caused by the hydrogen gas we were undoubtedly accumulating in the trailer. I probably would have replaced it eventually, but your video definitely prompted me to do it sooner than later. The battery store I ended up going to just started stocking a bunch of neat components, including some of the stuff you've used in the past, so I had to show them your channel, one of them even wrote it down to watch more later! So, thanks for the inspiration/help and love the new video, currently watching it on a rainy night while trying our new heater so it feels very close to home :)

Awesome build and execution! You might think about some ventilation to help with the humidity from your breath and cooking. This is why tents are mesh on top with the rain fly suspended above. Even a small exhaust van near the roof would help.

This was actually really cool to watch. I would suggest setting up a solar powered charger system for your battery banks. Of course that won't do much, if any good on rainy days, but it would help to keep batteries charged for brighter days. To bad the rain wasn't heavier, that would have made it seem more rugged, or mysterious, or I don't know, just cooler somehow. Super cool idea and adventure. Well done 😎😎👍

consider adding a ventilation fan in the floor of one of the corners with a dust cover over it to keep mud and bugs out, would help with excess condensation in the camper by providing more airflow and hopefully venting some water vapor. Probably want to maintain positive pressure into the camper though
