@@tareqabughoush9196 Considering the focus was going to be on Borat's daughter it makes sense the producers didn't want to bother with a third wheel of a character. I love Azamat, he was great in the first movie, but I can't see how he would've fit in the second one. I'm also annoyed the sequel didn't mention his second wife, the black lady. A quick throwaway line saying she moved back to the U.S. during Borat's imprisonment would've been enough. Or maybe that she married the richest man is Kazakhstan, the owner of 5 cows.

But while I agree with Jimmy to the extent that a Jewish person _could_ say what 'Borat' said without being accused of antisemitism, SBC was playing the character of someone who _isn't_ Jewish. The joke is actually about former Soviet states being antisemitic (and thus more at the expense of these countries than it is at the expense of Jews). I'm not sure _anyone_ could 'get away with this', even anyone Jewish (unless they were also Kazakh). However, his case is helped by the fact that he is using this 'foreign' antisemitism and prejudice to draw attention to American prejudice, so as long as his ultimate target is America, most people give the other stuff a pass.

Don't forget that in 2006, KZread was in its infancy. You could easily recycle the same jokes on different programs and get away with it, because very few people would be able to see them afterwards (unless they taped the programs on their own).
