"Is an apple a better hammer than a banana" is a question that never entered my mind until now! Also the fact that fabric just tears like that is also wild - I can't believe you just held the fabric with your bare hands! Thanks for sharing, and Merry Christmas from Sydney, Australia!

@@maladetts Parts of Finland can get down to -45...-50, but pretty much every Finn has experienced at least -25 multiple times regardless where they live. I think -10...-15 is quite typical all over the country. I have to say though, I live in southern Finland and last winter we didn't even have snow but this year has been better, I think the lowest for my location has been around -23.

@@Carrot880 I didn't realize it could get as low as Yakutian temperatures, but the rest of what you're saying is pretty much what I thought. And yes, this winter is something else throughout the world, unexpectedly snowy, like it used to be many winters ago.

@@maladetts I checked and it's actually rare but it happens, and in northern Finland something like -35...-40 is not uncommon at all. I've never been to North but I'd like to experience those temperatures. Yes, unexpectedly snowy indeed! Though it doesn't snow here every year anymore, we are still prepared and able to deal with it, but still we had a few days of chaos when we got some half a meter of snow within 24 hours. So, heck, I can only imagine how it's been in places where it rarely snows at all... Complete mayhem.

Watching these experiments is a lot of fun. Great idea for a video! The visual of the frozen noodles was so funny, like a modern art sculpture :p

Now I'm wondering if it's possible to make paper airplanes with that frozen fabric. It's always a treat when you upload. Happy Solstice и с новым годом!

Hi from Sweden! 👋 I had foot surgery couple a weeks ago, and bed bound whilst healing, to pass the time I have watched documentaries from around the world, and I was instantly faschinated about Yakutsk and Yatutia! I (sadly) could not visit myself because my joints are hurting so bad in just -15c as we have in Sweden right now (-25 c at its coldest in my region) - they would IMPLODE in -54! 😅 Anyway, it's fascinating and I love to see more, so you got a new subscriber! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing!
