Cold Desert Riding To The Devils Throat - Suzuki DR650

It was back to Southern Nevada for slightly warmer temps but not by much!
Lightly snowing as I pulled out of Southwestern Utah and made my way to Gold Butte in Nevada. Wanted to go have a look at the Devils Throat, a large sinkhole out in the middle of the desert, pretty bizarre but interesting nonetheless. I managed to stay quite warm, even toasty, on this ride with the new heated gloves, Hippo Hands, and freshly installed windshield on the DR650 so the ride ended up being quite enjoyable!

I really like your google earth intro and the following montage - very nice! Looks like it was a fun ride. I thought about rappelling into that sink hole too - I guess the authorities might not appreciate it, but I agree the idea is tempting! Thanks for another great video!

Yes and yes. I have the D Sports on all my bikes, great tire.
You don't seem at all concerned about picking up a cactus spine in your tires. Is it just that you know there are no hearty & sharp spines in the areas you ride?
