Me too Dennis. Dealing with the cold is completely worth it. I talk a lot in this video, what do you think? I seem to struggle whether to talk or not in my videos. Be honest :-)

I've always enjoyed videos with less talking. I feel the video & drone footage will tell the story on it's own without the narrative of explaining ever step your doing in the scene. Appreciate the effort you put into creating your videos.

@@grizzbuck Thanks Dennis. I go back and forth with this. This video just kind of worked out that I talked a lot, but I hate listening to myself.
I especially enjoy watching these cold weather camping videos. One thing I've been noticing more and more is that your video transitions between scenes flow well and are very smoothly edited. Thank you for taking the time to put together these excellent videos.

I really appreciate the kind words Michael. I do try to get better with each video on both the quality of shots and my editing.
It's amazing how cozy that awning gets once the walls go up. I have a 2016 4runner trail with the bat wing awning, and I've started using my walls a lot more now. So aren't you glad you kept the 4runner now 😂😂 hope so cause they are an incredible vehicle, take care, and be safe out there.

I am glad I'm keeping the 4Runner, I just don't trust the newer vehicles...the 4Runner will outlive me.

My daughter and I were thinking of camping Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving too but when I go with her we're tent camping. I saw the weather for the mountains and decided not to. If it was just me then I'm just in my 4runner. Looked great though. Thanks for the video!

Your 4Runner is badass. I am getting to know my 4Runner trail blazer. Take extra care on solo winter camping. It looks fun and the stunning view is worth it.

I wouldn't trust a wood fire under the awning, I'm sure I would end up with swiss cheese for my awning walls. Without the walls it might work.
