You can listen to afsanay and ghumaan and won’t find any difference in phir milenge as compared to them but faisal kapadia did something out of box which he has never done earlier. He did the song without the band he used to work with and nailed his verse completely. For me his last verse was the main aspect of the song❤️

I love Pasoori but it's nothing in front of afreen. Afreen singing requires lots of skills unlike Pasoori.

Being a Pakistani it feels so so proud 😇😇.. Loving your smile throughout the video which shows how much u loved it❤️❤️ Undoubtedly music unite us.. Thanks coke studio for making us proud and thank you for reviewing it so beautifully 😊😊

One other thing I noticed about this season: I think they put a lot of thought into the release order of the singles. "Tu Jhoom" as the first release was a great way to show us that this season will be different in terms of visuals and production while still being on-brand in terms of genre. They then proceeded to slowly reveal the various experimental tracks with some more traditional ones sprinkled in between. Finally, ending with a song titled "Phir Milenge" was beautifully poetic.

Abhi Toh Maine Ye Duniya Hi Suna Hai But Saare Sununga Jald Hi ❤️

Even thought Atif Aslam would remain my first love. I just can't get Muaziz Saarif out of my head, specially Faris Rap part the song is simply DOPE. Faris level very high, not for everyone to understand. he switches 3 languages with such flow, no one can do this.

Many songs will come and go in coke studio but none can match the level of JALPARI by Atif Aslam ❤️💯

I completely agree the songs were more experimental in this CS season. My favourite songs were: 1) Tu mehram 2) Pasoori/Kana Yaari 3) Tu jhoom P.S. It was extremely difficult to decide the order of first two.

This season created the magic and pasoori, yeh dunya and mehram I am in love with these songs😍😍😍.......

Muaziz shafi's rapper Faris Shafi is really different for even rap genre he rhymes unexpected words people find him boring first time listen to his song jawab de,nazar,waasta His songs were banned as they spoke harsh truth of Pakistan.He is the inspiration for every Pakistani Rapper

Great video! I think due to the drastic departure from what we assumed the brand of Coke Studio is, these songs might not appeal to everyone who enjoyed previous seasons. There are definitely a few songs I wouldn't be going back to just due to my personal preference. But I still appreciate how much effort was put into the season overall. No aspect of any song felt half-hearted in any way. Whether it's the composition, arrangement, performance, or videos, everyone involved put their souls into it. I agree with you, this was a very well-executed experiment. My top 3: Tu Jhoom, Thagyaan, Mehram

Thanks you for sharing your feedback on this new season of coke studio although as a Filmmaker I wanna appreciate their video production quality. This season has the best cinematography, lighting and colour composition. It was amazing considering that each and every song was shot indoors and they've designed different sets for every song yet had some coca cola elements which were used in such a subtle way that it was complimenting the whole set-up.

For me mehram, tujhoom , pasoori , go And ye duniya... Were favs....

Bro....you have covered almost every aspect wonderfully. But I want to mention another thing, that is regarding the recording quality of the songs. In previous seasons, the recording quality was so high that we could listen to every instruments clearly with high audio quality. But this time, it appears that the tracks were recorded in somewhat low fi and distorted manner to create additional ambient effects & to make the tracks more catchy. Waiting for your opinion on the same......

My favorites have to be Passori and Mehram. The hip hop and beats were nice but I was missing the studio vibe the entire season. My first listen to Mehram involved me holding my breath, praying they didn't switch it up midway. The songs were good but don't really fit on my coke studio playlist. For the most part, they didn't really pierce my heart and take me on a journey which is what I love most about coke studio. They were just radio worthy

Hip-hop is being widely accepted now..... whatever the people say, it has it's own place ..that no other genre can replace ...even coke studio accepted it as we knw even the Pakistan hip-hop culture is 🔥 and have the best rappers and lyricist out there no matter if someone like it or not, hip-hop give the opportunity to bring your real stories to the music, with everything acceptable Love from India...keep hustling..

You should also listen to 'aisey kaisey', 'joona', 'paisa' and 'aarzu' by hassan raheem. Hes a breakout artist going mainstream at the moment.

Lots of love 💕 please make more videos about Pakistani music. Perhaps also do commentary on Pakistani popular culture, arts, politics. One aspect that you are probably already aware of is that poetry plays a huge role in Pakistani music. This poetry is diverse in it's range like it is not just ghazals and geet, but also rap, qawwali, prose, and whatever pasoori was. There is deep Sufi tradition embedded in all our poetry whether it is rap or more classical. The philosophy of divine love is the core essence of Pakistani music and poetry. If you hear old or non commerical Indian music you will find that our musical and poetry philosophy is the same. That's why we love each other's music and that's why it touches our hearts and souls

For me pasoori is the best song of this season. It's something fresh.

Great summary brother❣️ I personally didn't like the majority of the songs of this season but I respect your opinion. The fusions were catchy but didn't feel organic compared to earlier seasons. The thing is these songs are good but they fall short and doesn't have the Coke Studio vibe that we had over years. The EDM and hip hop touch given to almost every single song ruined it for me (but it worked really well with GenZ audience and that's why this season was a huge success) The songs of earlier seasons specially ones by Strings and Rohail Hyatt are evergreen and one can listen to them today, tomorrow and even after 10-20 years. I don't find this season's songs have this factor.

I know you are a big Strings fan but do check out songs such as: Mori Bangri Neer Bharan Mahi Gal Miyan Ki Malhar Chal Diyay Ith Naheen Bulleya And many more.... The psychedelic vibe of the earlier seasons is unparalleled.

The effort they have put in each and every video is top notch!..Also, the reason you are giving abt this season being hit (Gen z factor) is kinda lame..!
