Earlier we had singers like Sonu Nigam, shreya ghoshal, kk, sunidhi who can adapt to demand of composition and mood of story but now we have only Arijit Singh who does that..that's why my favourite songs of Arijit are laal ishq, phir le aya, chunar, naina, kalank

@@itsmekunal07 i dont have bad impression about arijit singh . I have bad impression about Arjits fan. Because there are people listening to songs like tera naam joga rakhlu naraz hogi kya 🙃 ! And there are people listening to songs just because of arjit and not his singing. He has done amazing work in Bhool Bhulaiya. His Kesariya is mind blowing aayat, ik ibaadat Aashiqui and etc songs are just amazing ! But some of the songs nowdays are so so so similar nothing new thats what the problem is ! No hate for arjit singh what so ever. Arjit Singh with Pritam Da or AR sir is just out of the world 😍

Atif is not just a singer, he is a better artist. Because he makes original songs and original indie music also. He writes and composes his original melodies, songs himself and sings them too. That makes him an artiste and a complete package. Plus his technique has drastically improved over the years. And he introduced sufi aesthetic a new genre of music last year in indie scene in pakistan. He is always experimenting, making original music, and man is a frickin legend.
Bro we grew up listening Atif Aslam's songs and I am a huge fan of him❤❤
To me I think atif aslam is blessing to me, the type of voice I prefer to listen is like is soft, easy to listen and easily get vibe.

Atif Aslam is my favourite singer since childhood. I grew up listening to his songs! The main fact is, Atif isn't a trained singer! And music is a kind of art which needs a lot of training/practice. So in my opinion, aajtak Atif ne jitne b gaane gaaye hain, n jitne improvement hue hain unke singing style mein, unhone khudse explore kiya hai bcz Insaan apni mistake se sikhta hai n try karta hai taki aage Better perform kar sake :) I really miss his presence in Bollywood. And I'm glad you discussed about one of his underrated masterpiece 'Jaane de'

I too feel atif has improved alot, listening some of his live, i felt like abhijeet commented right about him. But now he has improved alot. But the songs he choose are awesome.
Everything aside, Atif Aslam is a legend and legends should be respected. He shouldn't even be compared to these others. And no doubt he has one of the best voices ever.

5:58 pachtaoge was originally sung by atif aslam in his authentic voice. The song was all set to reliase but was shelved at very last moment due to some onging boycott of pakistani artists. arijit recorded it in the end. so yeah the orignal voice of songs like pachtaoge or chaashni or enna sona kyu rab ne bnaya and other 16 bollywood songs was atif. the songs got shelved due to ban on pak artists by bjp. but the great atif never raised a voice when all his hardwork went to vain. Thats why I love ATIF. He is as great a human as a singer

I like Atif too But I know his voice is God gifted But in his initial days, he was a flat singer but now he is in a different league, his recent coke studio songs like ghazal aaye kuch abr, wohi khuda hai etc. Jubin ki voice kuch gaano me hi acchi lagti, B praak ghazal type nhi gaa skta uska apna ek genre hai Darshan husky aur bass voice ka mixture hai

B Praak's style of singing is exactly inspired by a Pakistani singer Ali Azmat. Ali Azmat has sung many songs of coke studio also. And has been singing since more than 30 years.

Ali Azmat still uses his actual voice in the higher ranges. And BPraak fakes his high notes with a technique known as Vomitale (When you use Vomitale, it clearly means you are faking your range)

These are some of his gems which are not known to many people ...these songs deserves much more ❤️❤️❤️ They are treat to listen for a true music lover !!!

I think Atif Aslam's songs in Coke Studio are better than Bollywood, he is known in Bollywood only as a romantic singer and now there's no composition suitable for his voice, but he has a lot of good songs in Coke Studio, even earlier songs. But he has sung a lot of different kind of songs in season 12, and yes I agree with you, Atif has improved a lot now.

@@rjaadeez5840 yess I absolutely agree Jalpari is Best , also other like Channa, Dholna, Mai nee, Kinara & Kadi Aao ni are underrated but composition wise very good and also he sung very well, even season 12's Aye kuch abr & wohi khuda hai are very melodious & peaceful but the last part of mubarik Tremendously energetic also unbelievable, & what says about Tajdar-E-Haram his voice connected spirituality .

The speciality about all the singers mentioned in the video is that they connect to the audience because of the feel they inject in a song... they aren't highly technical in their singing method and tend to focus more on the feel and vibe...which as a practising musician and a music listener, I like..... Might not be the case with you.. But yeah, for me it works... it impacts me better than highly technically sound singers..

Technically sound singers can induce more feelings than others ..(they have an ability to play with the words ,which sounds beautiful) No untrained singer can sing deewana kar raha hai better than javed ali Listen 'do nishaniyan ' by sonu nigam He sings the line 'mere chehre ki do nishaniyan' 4 times in 4 different styles 'which is magical
