Think you'll have to recharge it 2 - 3 times as you've put in a extra battery on it. Heck charging it twice with 1 battery only helps its runtime even.

Use a mobile phone charger for your cars. Alot better than using a 9 volt battery. As the 9v battery will damage ya cars cells. As the phone charger is only 5 volts it's the better option. Great video thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you Sounds like a much better safer option than time and volts as 5 volts in would be hard to do any damage even after full charge.

I bought the micro lithiums and multi charger for mine. they are tiny and slim. works really well

My self and some others have come up with some ways to mod throttle but not worth it much easyer to get a platraco system its full proportional just connect it up, Cheap easy to connect and works great. I was just playin around with one of them tonight, I have some past vids of them in the vid list

Great videos, after watching several I picked a coke can rc car up on the weekend and me and a friend are going to start modding it from the videos. One major problem I have found is the range on it is rubbish, how did you improve that?

Hello Have you entered the 2500 subscriber free prize comp yet ? please do you may win a car that has better range. But for now there a few things you can do that will help. Put a longer antenna on the controller but only a bit longer too much will have oppisite effect, Add a small extention to the cars antenna. There is more I'm doing a vid on this subject now will be the first tech talk on my new Patreon channel as one of the most asked things. Please follow the links in vids description if you interested. What kind of range do you have. Also have no other electrical equipment close when running and stand with and metal behind you can even help range eg flat heater panel, dish washer.

Just entered now :)I have just purchased a longer antenna last night as was hoping that would help, standard one is around 15cm so got a telescopic one which goes to 97cm going to raise and lower to see what effect it gives. The range I have out of the can/box is about 6 ft before it starts cuts out a little. What metal would suggest to extend the car antenna with? Its extremely thin and not sure where I would find similar stuff.

You can also run the controller on a lipo 4.2 volts but don't charge a car with a lipo in the controller it will charge but may blow the controller up I did it once got very hot bad idea. There's also a second car prize comp for the first 25 Patreon subscribers.

Yeah I wanted to cover that also, what can I do to the car to increase the speed but while still being able to use a standard controller to charge it from? I'm guessing a battery upgrade is likely out of the questions based on your other videos.

The best one I have found so far is the motor swap in the last vid I did and in full detail on patreon. I'm shore there is a wide range of stock size motors that will add speed.

I am really inspired by this. I am trying to mod one into a skidoo hahaha. wanna take the insides and add a track so i can have a micro sled. still working on a good setup

Hello I may have shown most of the battery swop in the little red vid. But I will be redoing all these in full detail on the new Patreon site I have started. I will still be showing much on you tube but had to start and do some on Patreon to help pay for a better show more often.

Hard say for shore but I run them on 4.2 s1 lipos never had a problem. Most motors this size are from 1.2v-3v but there not under any real load due to gearing and car being so light, so 4.2v fine if you go 5v or more may have a melt down.

Almost any were online there very cheap. 1.2 volt nicad I think but they are very common. I will srearch and add a link in the discription.

AVA Magnetic Levitation Ever find one? Mine came with a dud battery. I used a lipo, but I have no way to stop it from draining all the way given the cars size. How many mah is the battery the car comes with? That way the replacement will fit properly. Thank you!
