recently purchased the mr2 roadster and trying to figure out what i want to do with it to increase performance. trying to get a good idea of what i could get out of it for what price hahaha

Love the color and wide body kit. Nice work. For me, the splitter doesn't do anything for me, nor does the wing, but to each their own. Very impressed with the quality of finish you did yourself on the bumper repair.

Love the colour and a top job done on the bumper repair, Lee. I had BCs on my MR2 MK2 TRD WB and they were amazing, good explanation on the settings for anyone trying to understand at a basic level. Only one question, do those wheels rub at all, I had issues with 17s but mainly at motorway speeds and it was a pain.

that diffuser is perfect though btw

Looks good but I would look at colour coding the vents. Do you have a hard top for it? I'm not a fan of rag tops.

Great idea with the vents but you should streamline them with the candy red paint. Search focus rs vents stremlined in google to see what I mean it will make it look more exotic. Have you considered cutting the bottom of the bumper and adding the diffuser inside it also?

+Sam Cody just searched it, yeah it does look good. I thought about cutting the bumper but I want a different diffuser first. I fancy one of the curved lotus ones but damm they are expensive. I've got more interesting things to buy first 😁

Tomas Kabaran they all have them. As far as I know

nice car, but changing the preload does not change the spring RATE, only the pre load. Generally best to use minimal preload at full droop (just enough to keep the spring from being loose. Then use your bottom adjuster for ride height adjustments. Think of it as avoiding having to overcome the preload force before movement occurs (best ride/best following of road surface)

what did you mean by persuade it? You banged on it some. Does that mean the arms were bent some? how does one get a precise measurement all the way around

how much power did you say you're turbo setup has? I'm planning on going 2gr fe v6 at around 280hp but it may be cheaper to just turbo it..

Luke R You won't get 280whp out the 1zz without forging. It's limit is about 270 (pushing it) So price will end up being the same... then you can turbo the 2gr later 😁👍

Spyderlee Did you have any problems with Tune? I mean Does ecu put cels or engine doesn't run smooth? What piggyback do you use? Is it just faking maf and stuff or just controls injectors?

Marek Gadomski hiya, no cels and runs smooth. it's a greddy emanage ultimate. the stock ECU uses the maf and the emanage takes over with a map sensor when it does it's stuff. the emanage takes over the injectors and the timing adjustments. not as good as a standalone but uses the stock ECU knock detection

Mines not rusty. Coilovers aren’t perfect but I bought them secondhand. And the uk is a small island surrounded by ocean. And rains a lot
