    Awesome! Your initial driving impressions are exactly the same as mine when I installed new ridetech shocks on my C4. Less brake dive and oscillation after bumps. Clearly my old shocks were blown as well lol.

    Nice! I love my koni/ground control setup for the civic, f400#, r450#. Even with the extended top hats, I feel the system lacking. Was going to try AMR coilovers this race season, but might look into these S3 coilovers instead!

    I used that setup in 24hrs lemons with the EK hatch. Ya they would be good for street but a little lacking.

    Exciting stuff, new coilovers rock, Id expect your times at the AutoX should drop a 1/2 sec or more due to better damping and traction. RIP it up !!

    13:30: my 2zz mr2 makes that exact same hissing sound from then intake when I shut the car off. I thought it was something wrong with mine but yours does the same thing.

    7k/12k springs seems interesting, with it being mid and not rear engine Id expect more of a 1-3k difference

    Great Video. Pretty cool seeing the actual difference from the dampening adjustments! But there is one Thing Im curious about: Would you have to choose spring Rates depending on tire Setup? So would you Run a different spring rate with a square or a staggered Setup?

    one question because we are fellow 2zz mr2 owners. how the carbon fiber hood affect handling of the car? if its too light it became trouble and you must use downforce to your odds. i try to make car with only functional stuff not for looks but still streetable because daily driven:) big fan of techno pro spirit hellmachine mr2:)

    I contacted S3 and they recommended me 10k front 8k rear for a daily driver ek civic, I thought those rates were a little crazy and I didn't reply, but after watching this I actually think those rates would be just fine on mostly soft dampers. They know Hondas better than I do, I should have trusted them a bit more.

    Damn those look hella nice, you said +3 and +6 for the dampers is this in terms of how many clicks from 0? and what is the adjustable range for these? Trying to compare to the BC DS Series coils which has a range of 0-32 clicks, running 7k fronts 10k rear

    I seemed to hear some creaking from the chassis at slow speeds when in the parking lot. Did the car do that before the coilover change too? I was wondering if it might be from the pillowball mounts transferring more noise. I cannot imagine running 7/12. I currently run 5/7 on my 2ZZ Spyder but yours looked good on the curvy road at the end. I will be interested to hear your impressions when you can do autoX and track it again.

    I have spherical endlinks and poly bushings. This setup isn't new. I got it from TPS and from the guys running nurburgring. Many of my friends run 12-14k in hondas and 20k s2000. Lol

    @@TougeTime I am not saying you cannot run springs that stiff. I know some guys run incredibly stiff springs on the street. I am saying that I could not imagine doing it and be comfortable performance driving on roads and streets. Tracks are one thing but on the street, I need some compliance in the suspension to deal with the unforeseen. It looks like you got it adjusted to a place where it is comfortable for you but my body is a lot older than yours. LOL

    When you say you have hit 1.5Gs sustained, are you still using the 1zz oil pan? I just put one in my car and wonder how effective it is.

    Yeah not true. I've hit 1.5g peak in rare situations on AR-1s with aero, with much larger wheels and tires. I am using the stock oiling system on the 1ZZ and don't have issues, but I'm also not caring if it blows up.

    what was the creacking/clunk when you were in the parking lot? we installed coils on my friends 86 and his had that noise. i wonder if it just something normal when having coils installed

    If you haven't figured it out yet, you're gonna need helper/tenders because without you'll have no sprung droop.

    2zz is the way, I’ve heard k series tend to throw the balance a bit to far backwards in the car. But if I were to choose between k20 vs k24 I’d say a high revving k20 will be better for the car than a higher power k24

    @@sanchoMDB they fixed the issue now but the fortune auto were really bad. Stud was too big for hole lol. And the bottom mount was attached upside down.
