    My brother owned an almost identical El Camino 20 or so years ago. He bought it for $3,500, drove it for a couple years, then sold it for $5,500. One his biggest regrets! Great content, Dennis! You're a natural presenter!

    Dennis there's an abandoned house near the intersection of Piney Green road and Country club road. It's in the back yard it's a beautiful green color brighter than British racing green. It looks to be a Jeep wagoneer or old Cherokee. Please save this Jeep. It's in Jacksonville North Carolina near Camp Lejeune.

    I can’t believe your gonna do a wagoneer/hemi build!! I’ve been wanting to do that with mine. I have a 91 and the original 360 crapped out and that’s what I’ve been wanting to transplant but being a disabled Vet, the budget just isn’t my best friend right now. Don’t know what your looking for exactly but I do have a 77 CJ7 that is for sale. 68k original miles, original engine 3.8 but has had the original 3spd swapped out for a 5spd which has made it much nicer to drive. Have done a huge amount of suspension work this past year and dropped the tank and replaced the sending unit. It has the hard top only. I drive it every few days and it’s never failed me. Unmolested and original condition. It does need paint, previous owner sprayed it army green. I put new BFG 31x10.50x15’s on it this past summer with less than 2k miles since. They are on old aluminum wagon spoke wheels. Let me know if you have any interest and we can get in touch. I’m up in NC about an hour north of the speedway. It does need some work yet but it is a rock solid unmolested CJ. I’m asking $8,500 but have quite a bit more than that invested. I sure hope you will let us follow along on the wagoneer build. I love those and my wife has one and I have one, a 91 and an 88. Your doing the right thing with it. The wagoneer deserves to have some power behind it. Hopefully one day if I have a good year on the farm I can send you our 91 and have you build it, that would be a dream come true Dennis. Thanks for the videos and keep em rolling buddy, stay safe out there brother!

    G’day Dennis,love the show for general information the el Camino is actually a Ute ,short for utility. The difference between a Ute and a truck/ pickup is that a ute’s tray is an integral part of the body in a unibody construction where as a truck/ pickup has a seperate tray attached usually to a frame. Now that I have enlightened you on the difference may I have a challenger red eye as a prize😊. Kind Regards Steve

  • @DeepseaSteve

    @DeepseaSteve

    5 жыл бұрын

    steve counts because in America you call all utility vehicles trucks does not necessarily make it so, just highlighting the difference. The first Ute in the world was made in Australia by Ford back in the30’s ,an Aussie housewife wrote to ford asking for a vehicle that could take the pigs to market during the week and her and hubby to church on Sunday.
