Not to take anything away from Schrader, absolutley loved watching him play this year. He got stronger the deeper into the game he got. Just wore down opponents. That being said, what a job by that o-line. He's making it to the second level untouched at full steam on a ton of these runs.

Daaaaaaang, this guy has way more juice than I expected for being UDFA. I know these are highlights, but the decisiveness/lack of hesitation is hegga refreshing. 🔥

He's a monster. He was bussing teams ass all last season. He only went undrafted due to age and mileage already on his body. He'll be 25 when the season starts and he played six years of college football. If he had been two or three years younger he would have gone in the late second or third round with Brooks and Benson.

I had a 3rd round grade on Cody Schrader. I was hoping so bad we could get him to play here in Minnesota. But to have him go undrafted was insane. Good luck 49ers!

Off the bat I love the protection of the ball throughout. Excited to see this guy work. Let's go Schrader!

19 carries per game, 6 yards per carry in THE SEC. Not only that, but it is behind a less than elite offensive line. Could you imagine this guy running behind, Bama, Georgia, or LSU's offensive line? Bruh, that would be game OVER. I'm rooting for this guy to have as long and successful of a career in The NFL as possible! Long live Cody Schrader!

This guy has excellent vision. He also runs in a zone blocking offense. Not much change from the 49ers. He maybe a diamond.

Good vision and strong runner. Reminds me of McCaffrey.

He's got excellent vision and patience when running up the gut and accelerates when he gets to the second level. He might not be very elusive, but he's definitely physical. There's also potential for him as a receiving back with those hands and speed.

He reminds me of Le'Veon Bell. He got good vision.

I don't see Le'Veon Bell at all. He was known for letting the play develop or waiting behind blocks then going, but this kid is all-gas-no-brakes! 😮

​@chriswahl1337 He is literally spitting image of playstyle of his now teamaye CMC, bursts through any hole finds or will just run through defenders and get as many yds after contact as he physically can. Wtf is wrong with teams to be sleeping on this guy? Makes me think he has some other issues teams stayed away. He was one of the best RB in college football last year.

@scuffedmarshmello9334 From what I've been seeing/hearing, he had a really bad combine (he ran a 4.61, but this kid's game-speed is way faster than 4.61), so his stock dropped. I think he'll be one of those players that shows that the combine isn't everything. I agree, he's got a very CMC-style, and I'm glad he's a Niner. 😁

Excellent vision, patience, and determination. He proves speed only matters after you hit the hole.

Had him in one of my mocks as a 6th rounder. Really like his game, quick cut, and then accelerates beautifully through the hole

I HATE that the 49ers got this stud... while my Rams burned a high pick on a very similar RB. Rams could have used that high pick on a different need and still picked up Schrader late. Basically, the Rams and 49ers both got the same RB, but the 9ers got theirs for NOTHING

Yeah I noticed he was run down in almost every clip

He has great straightline speed, but he slows down alot when he cuts at full speed like a fullback.

Put him on the right team and that’s a 1000 yd back. Period.

This guy looks like a savage. Lets hope his play translates.

Really like these two running back pick ups they are def going to make the rb room better and have cmc mentor them.

Honestly when I watch this guy run he gives me slightly less powerful Marshawn Lynch vibes. His stance and feet give me beast mode flashbacks.

He’s a great pick, but not the one the 49ers needed. They already have CMC and Jordan Mason. They’re utterly stacked with RB’s and absolutely void of quality offensive linemen.

I guarantee this guy starts before the season is over. He’s a way better pure RB than Mcaffrey was coming out of college
