Odd Coconut fact, you can send a whole coconut, not just the familiar brown inner part, through the USPS . It has to be whole, but one university applicant that I know, sent one to Harvard after applying there. She lived in the Florida Keys, and thought it might be a clever reminder to admissions of her application.. I don't know if it helped, but she graduated from Harvard four years later!

I can't believe they didn't include Nish throwing the coconut only for it to end up back at his feet and him giving up immediately. Genuinely one of the most hilarious moments of Taskmaster that couldn't be replicated if he tried, because of course he would fail at trying to fail on purpose.

I love how Bob without any hesitation says: 'The largest of all the nuts'.

I think Alex Horne had a lot of coconut related task ideas during season 5 and executed them all at once. The tasks were great though.

every series has its “thing.” S2 had potatoes. S4 had rubber ducks. I have yet to go back & discern the thing for the other series but they’ve got them.

I never would have thought that a video entitled “Coconuts” would make me so happy but here we are. I adore Taskmaster

I love how the coconuts on Mark’s bobsled are making :o faces before their run starts.

I just finished watching every single episode of the show and I never had so much fun in my life in such a relatiely short span of time. It helped me through a tough time during the pandemic. Let me state a few things: I am from germany. This show was mentioned (and praised) in a german podcast several weeks ago and that was when I first heard about Taskmaster. This channel has 642.000 subscribers now (only??). I wonder how many of them came here after listening to that german podcast (german user will know which podcast)? And I cannot thank enough the team of Taskmaster and everyone involved to make the decision to upload the entire show including all the bonus stuff for the whole world to see for FREE. You REALLY love your audience and understand how the internet works. I envy the british for their ability to create such a fantastic and delightful show (I hope brexit will not make it harder for me to visit you as I did loads of times in the past). And one last thing: please do not stop producing before I die. Ok?

I don’t know if there’s any greater evidence for how coconut themed series 5 was than the fact that we were 3/4 of the way through this video before we got a task from any other series.

By the way Taskmaster, the coconut is not the largest nut. The nut of the Coco de Mer has that distinction. Sometimes referred to as the "Lover Nut" or double coconut, it is the seed of a palm native to two islands in the Seychelles. Sometimes found floating at sea, they have fascinated people for centuries. Polished, and often mounted on precious metal armatures, they have been prized possessions in stately homes, castles and very fortunate collector's of natural artifacts homes worldwide. PS I am a huge fan of little (6'2") Alex Horne!

@@carriemitch1 Series 9 is being uploaded now, one episode a week. If you're not seeing them, they may be region-locked. Try a VPN to Ireland. It's up to episode 4 now, so we'll have episode 10 in a few more weeks.
