Bringing the tried and true methods back to the future. Natural products are the way to go. Thank you, Bangladesh, India, and Viet Nam for using every part of the plant to get us away from thoughtless plastic consumption. Question: What other methods could we use on road surfaces to prevent reliance on petroleum products? At the 12 minute mark, they are laying down a coir mat on a rural road. I'm thinking, "Brilliant! Keeps the dust down and helps prevent erosion in some part without relying on asphalt." Then, they cover it with rock and other substrate. And then bitumen (petroleum). Oh, that's too bad. Wonderful how separate fibers can come together to make yarn and then twine and thicker rope. So cool!

to be honest the best use for coconut husk is chopped into 10mm cubes and used as hydroponics medium - it needs to be washed and bought to a neutral to be perfect for any crop you want to grow if you're a chemist ... Chemists don't need pots that let the root bugs in - Chemists need a pot that maintains temperature and humidity and keeps the root eating bugs Out but contains coconut husk is chopped into 10mm cubes - That's were the money is.
