Coconut palms are generous and very giving plants. From its trunk to leaves to fruits - which gives oil, sweet refreshing water, white delicious meat as foods and cuisines as well source of healthy milk and oils - for cooking as well essentials oil for plethora of uses and applications. And it's fruit producing all year round with bunches of fruits per stalk and multiple bunches per tree. Respect 🤲🏻 🙏 Thailand 🇹🇭

I’m confused by that. I’ve only seen coconuts with a hard brown shell - not the green part and the white part is inside.

​@@bmiles4131 depends on the maturity of the coconut. If its tender, it'll have smooth surface and jelly like meat. If it's matured, it'll have hard woody surface and meat that is hard as well.

the guy selling the coconut @09:00 is in the Philippines. I live near that place(Public market in Sta Cruz, Laguna) and they do not have jeepneys in Thailand.

Coconut tree is also called the tree of life - A single tree can give a person, healthy food, patient food, infant/ food , water , dress, bedding, flooring, roofs over the head , curtains, screens, house structure , cleaning brooms brushes, crockery cutlery, water crossing structures, fuel , liquor , vinegar, sugar and so on - no tree will match its versatility !

Coconut farming is labor intensive. It is not lucrative. Irritating is a challenge as coconut trees need a lot of water and manure. While there is some truth that a coconut tree can give multiple products, there is less value to the products. Farmers probably will get $0.10 per coconut.

This makes want to visit Thailand again😍😍; They use fresh coconut & Basel in a lot of their excellent cuisine . Visited Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai bk in 2013 ; I will most definitely go bk to visit 😍😍!!! Such A beautiful country with lots of good food & fruits 😋😋!!!

Then we people of Kerala should wear it throughout the day because we are surrounded by coconut trees😂. We have people who will climb up the tree to gather the coconuts & after that only unripened coconuts will be left so it won't fall. I usually sweep my backyard which has many coconut trees, it is less dangerous if riped coconuts are already harvested.
