Coconut Coated Banana Fritters, Crunchy Creamy Delicious!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
There's nothing quite like a banana fritter hot out of the fryer. Crispy on the outside and sweet and fluffy on the inside.
These banana fritters are the best I have ever tasted! A recipe influenced by my travels in Thailand. While they may seem like a bit of a treat, these banana fritters are pretty easy to make at home with a few simple ingredients. All you need are some ripe bananas, a little flour, and a few other ingredients. Then, simply fry the banana slices in hot oil until they are golden brown and crispy. Very cold sparkling water is the secret to that super crunch!
The result is a sweet and crunchy treat that is sure to please any banana lover. So next time you're in the mood for something special, give my coconut coated banana fritters a try. You won't be disappointed. Serve hot or warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or honey and a squeeze of lime or lemon.

I like this guy, simple, to the point, and videos usually under 5 minutes without a bunch of painful BS. This recipe I'm gonna make for sure.

A perfect and beautiful way of serving. After watching this video I will make it thanks for the recipe my dear. 😀👍❤️
This is the best version of banana fritters I've ever seen, and I'm sure they'll also taste the best! The South Indian state of Kerala, has a similar recipe, called "Pazham pori". But most of the time I've tasted, it's soggy, oily and look limp. You have taken it to an exotic level by using cinnamon, corn flour, moist grated coconut and the drizzle of maple syrup and spinning lime. They look super crispy and light. It's incredibly inviting and tempting! Have a great weekend chef!

Wonderful! I've had so many bad banana fritters in the past 50 years that I had essentially concluded that there was no such thing as a good banana fritter. Your recipe looks absolutely stunning. The combination of the coconut, the maple syrup, the lime, and the tempura-like crust is genius. Well done, sir!

Hi Joel, sorry to ask such a dumb question, but what do you do with the oil after frying the bananas? Can you reuse it or does it take on the flavours? Thank you!

You can certainly reuse it a few times. I always let mine cool down, then strained using a coffee filter placed in a funnel back into the original container.

These look delicious! Could these be done in the air fryer? I love your recipes and modify them when you use them, but one of the leading causes of Alzheimer's is the use of vegetable and seed oils. I only cook with Animal fats. Tallow-ghee

Ultra processed seed oils are certainly not healthy, but once in a while it won't be a problem. So many people fry food in seed oil each day, that's concerning.
