It’s acronym of simplified checklist for general aviation airplanes, Gas, Undercarriage, Mixture, Propeller, Seatbelts & switches, though only partially to our electric RC aircraft. But we do it for realism... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUMPS

Pretty cool. I didn’t even know that head tracking FPV was a thing until I saw your vids… maybe just me but I think you could save the trouble of the music track. The wind and motor sounds are an important part of the experience and should, imo, be pure.

HT really adds to scale realism to FPV flying and increase situational awareness tremendously. I do post videos occasionally without music but my viewers have voted that some music with real sounds mixed-in is what they prefer. Here’s a recent that’s pure and “untainted” by music. Enjoy: kzread.info/dash/bejne/opyr1s6bj8aulM4.html

Nice and smooth, may have to build something like this to use in place of full scale aerobatics!
@motionsic

Certainly more cost effective and less risky! The cost of renting an aerobatic plane an hour is probably close to the cost of these foamy EDF jets. It’s like crashing an RC plane each time you go up in a full scale…
@SVSky

@@motionsic Maybe, I started off in RC and went to full scale, now RC is a distant third compared to hang gliding and GA. I can't imagine life without it now. We were doing FPV/EDF Formation flying 12-13 years ago, but the gear is vastly better now so it's a good option when it's MVFR conditions.
Good job👍

You guys are killing it with thos gimbal! Would you guys do setup video's on some of the planes. Like the viper 90 and this jet. Example: are you using the stock recievers or a flight controller. If stock reciever are you adjusting strength. Viper on the way but this bird looks 👌 stable.

@motionsic

I have not flown using these goggles nor any other analog goggles. So I really can not say if they are good or bad. They might be good entry goggles to get a taste for FPV. But resolution wise, they really don’t come close digital goggles/systems.
This would benefit from a 3d printed cockpit

Hey, super nice! How do you relay signal from head tracking gyro to the gimbal- PPM via TX? What hardware used for head racking, I mean gyro to ppm, arduino or separate controller? How do you set up the transmitter? Thank you, I'm enjoying
