When I started building the T-34/85 I was extremely surprised with the brick quality I thought it would feel cheap but it felt just like if not better than Lego cobi is no joke

I think Cobi is kinda its own brand. Sure, they use parts similar to Lego's but they're not ripping off lego models they make their own

I must admit that in the early days that COBI was just another brand on the Lego duplicating market, they’ve come a long way! Since than my admiration is going up and up and now I can say this is a really nice piece of work. 👍👍 Thank you for sharing.

I remember buying a cobi Pershing tank set and thinking “this is gonna be a ripoff of Lego.” I built it, it actually looked great and I was surprised

A tad disappointed the elevator doesn't work like on the Graf Zepplin, but still cool. Hope we can get Kaga and Akagi.

I like that you took time and work hard on USS enterprise cv-6 Yorktown class.Its look cool and amazing.

I love how nicely the whole thing come together in the end!

Props to cobi for making a pretty good version of the ship, but I just have two quite nit-picky points. 1) It kind of bothers me how the style of the panelling on the side of the hull changes so abruptly near the middle of the ship. If they had kept it like the bow and the stern so that the whole hull was uniform, or at least tried to merge it better (like how they did it with the Iowa hull) then it would have looked better. 2) The funnel is a bit too small, though this can be corrected easily. It should have at least half the length of the island superstructure. But otherwise the ship is modelled quite well.

1 year late, but on Amazon…it should cost like $160 which is pretty cheap for a Lego set. But this Lego brand is actually pretty decent considering it does lego sets related to History, and is actually decent.

Cobi have really gotten my interest and I've ordered my first kit (an Sdkfz 251/2). Just wish their figures were a bit less weird. But i understand that Lego still have the copywrite on their type of design.

Cobi is actually a really high quality company, they’re made in Poland and like some of their stuff even more than Lego

Gotta say this is awesome As a model builder it’s really accurate, (except the planes) but I might buy cobi sets I have a model of Enterprise and her sister Hornet so I won’t buy this due to me having a model of Enterprise already plus it’s not to scale of my models If an HMS Belfast set comes out though that’ll change (Although I already have a Belfast model)
