Great Performance. I like watching this every time.
My first live band i have seen in the Netherlands.. ( Jaap Eden Hallen - Amsterdam..) I was 15 at the Time.. So 40 years ago ... hahahaa...
i'm 18 but i'd pay good money to see concerts like this again

I saw them live in D,C around 85-86 (give or take a year) the performance and energy level of both the artist & audience was indescribable . This was 1 of only a few concerts I've experienced where most if not all of the audience where out of our seats dancing from beginning to end . Videos do them no justice whatsoever!

@@mauricebrock4233 you are so lucky to have had the experience to go.. seriously. you will never find concerts like this these days such a shame
Coati Mandi, fabulous.. your performances on stage with the Savannah band and kid Creole and the Coconuts was pure joy to see, everyone one of the band members were so talented and giving it their all…🎉, never seen such a wonderful show and first class talent since, we watch them over and over and each time we luv it more..playing it all now 💃🎸🎺🥁🥳🌞🫂❤️

Masterpiece from Coatie ;) .. and Carol with the beautiful Coconuts to boot.. does it get any better ?
Qué canción mas buena para bailar.
This is joyful music at its very, very best. Kid Creole helped promote salsa Latin music in the mainstream.
This sounds so much better than the recording. The band is so tight and that awesome bass really drives it along. Coati, where do you get all that energy? You must have a nuclear reactor inside you.
First latin hip-hop aka latino-rap song ever made!!!!

Grande! I still have the 12" vinyl.
Utterly brilliant with the added benefit of the stupendously wonderful Coconuts!
This is music, not sampling. I used to dance to this when Frankie Knuckles played this at the Warehouse back in the day...I lost my mind! Me No Pop Eye, You No Olive Oyl...Thanks for your great talent and memories...Bless you!
Coati, you take me back to my young days. So much happiness you bring.

@@CoatiMundiWorld A boyhood friend of mine whom we grew up drumming together, later went to work for Ray Charles and later a tour with JB. We started following ya'll when you formed up Dr. Buzzard's, then as they say the rest is history for you and the Kid. I know you guys don't ever get to the U.S. to tour very often, but whether its you or the Kid together, you have made your mark in the music and entertainment industry; everything afterwards is just cruzin for two really cool cats. Rick always said he was never good enough to play for you and Darnell. He says besides the fun and the audience, make no mistake it was the hardest job he ever had! Rick really digs your arrangements and your talent. He no longer plays on the road, but is a music professor R. Kirkland at UNF in Jacksonville. Me I became a firefighter, but still pickup with my friends. God bless you and the band, and many more years of playing just for the fun of it!
