I made sure this got played on our school's PA before the humdrum morning announcements. What a rebel.

When I came from the V.D clinic, I knew our love was finished. lol.

This tune was recorded 38 years ago. I found it in the movie, "We Own The Night," with Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes and Robert Duvall 2008. In one of the scenes at a Disco's bar, they were playing this song, "Que Pasa/Mi No Pop I. After listening to it, I fell in love with the tune and had to look it up on You Tube, so that I could listen to it and share it with others. Since it's such a Cool Tune. Hope you enjoy it too.

That's how I discovered it too but during that scene, CoATI MuNDI is actually performing the song live in the club, which was a really nice touch by the director on so many levels. :)

I saw Wayne Williams drop this at Miami winter music conference in the middle of an old skool Chicago house set in 2005 - sounded like the best thing I had ever heard - the contrast to the massive house tunes was magical!

yo también por fin la encontré ,....aquí en Perú la recuerdo a pesar de que pase la peor época escolar repetía de Año por brutito pero gracias a esta canción conocí a una hermosa Chica y me levanto el animo, pasaron muchas cosas en mi Vida , pero esta canción me hacia vibrar finalmente fue un bonito Año para mi , épocas que ya no volverán.

musica para el recuerdo , me agrada mucho , me recuerda de mi , de mi mama y de mi hermano menor . que musica tan agradable la de esa epoca , quien iba a pensar que esta nueva generacion iba a dañar la musica , son groseros , violentos y falta de respeto , no todos , pero si la mayoria , hombres y mujeres , y por eso extraño a la musica de aquellos tiempos de mi juventud , gracias por subir esos videos , DIOS los bendiga grandemente hoy mañana y siempre .

Ze records at the beginning of the 80's had it locked down. NY Punk funk..... devoured by those in the know.
