Such a breath of fresh air, like a long cool drink of water after the news of this week and sad events in my family all on the same day. Thank you so much for sharing. We’ll hit the road again! Your videos are so enjoyable in this season of our lives.

Smith Rocks! One of my favorite hikes! That slog back up to the parking lot will get you every time, though! Fun that you are in my backyard right now! Pacific Northwest adventures are the best! I just missed you on the coast on the 4th! Certainly enjoy following along with you.

Carol: After watching this beautiful and moving video, my wife and I will be driving 4 hours from Central Texas to East Texas next weekend to spend time at our parents' and my brother's grave sites. I've been watching your channel for several years and love all of your adventures, the ones in Utah the most, because Utah is my home. This video touched my heart deeply. Maybe because my husband of 50 years went to heaven in 2021 and the last epic road trip we took before his passing was up the west coast through Northern California, Oregon, Washington and up into British Columbia. I absolutely love Pacific City!!! I grew up in Newberg, Oregon. Once a month (for any excuse), we would go to the Coast. First head to Lincoln City and then decide, "Which way, north or south?" North always ended up in Pacific City. We would go up THE DUNE and watch the sun set, looking for 'The Green Flash!' I've seen it several times! Awesome videos of the area, thanks so very much!!!

Wonderful! Beautiful picnic at the cemetery. And great practice at being grandparents!! Such cute nieces and nephews. The baby is soooo perfect. The big smile melted my heart! Brought back memories of my granddaughters at that age! I think it's great how much you appreciate your new freedom. You have earned it and have raised 3 amazing young people! I always enjoy your Oregon trips. little things like the shot of the straight road out of sisters with black butte on the right. i was just visiting my family the week before you were there and stopped at Neskowin/Otis to pay respects to my folks, who are buried there. Your video was such a pleasant reminder as you visited your mom’s grave. looking forward to Christ’s return.

Spectacular!! Thankyou guys, u2 r so cute together! I'm so happy for you both! Me too since 2020 Carol. On the mend now:) My Mom was very lucky and missed 2020. She's with our Lord 2018:) She wouldn't of liked it at all...6 girls, one boy, pretty much all with kids having kids. She loved just being around us all. My sis just passed here, 60, cancer. It might sound crazy but I thought of u2 when it happened! You two are My inspiration! Thankyou! Gotta walk me dog more, eat right...foster Mama with two 8 year old boys, 4 months apart, 13 year old young lady and a 20 year old struggling out in the world but God will wake her eyes soon. 😊💗💗❤️‍🩹🌼🪻🍁

Cape Kiwanda, That is also my favorite place on the oregon coast. So Beautiful, Tide pools surfers to watch is wonderful and for an ex.California girl is the closest thing to the real beach.I know of. I live in Portland I love to get there.Oh, at least once a year.It'll be fun to see you guys there.

Are there bears where you were hiking? Pete do you love the hiking sticks? Loved the picnic. I am enjoying getting to know both your siblings.
