CNN goes inside Florida abortion clinic hours before 6-week ban takes effect
CNN's Meg Tirrell visited a Florida abortion clinic hours before a stricter abortion law went into effect, dropping the state’s 15-week ban to a six-week ban. Meanwhile, the Arizona Senate voted to repeal the state’s 160-year-old near-total abortion ban, three weeks after the state Supreme Court revived the law and thrust reproductive rights into the political spotlight. #CNN #News

It’d be a good time to advocate for universal childcare. Inflation is stubbornly persistent because of labor shortages, and now women are going to be missing more work because they’re being forced to give birth. My coworker was getting fertility treatments. When she did get pregnant, she was very happy. Unfortunately, she had an ectopic pregnancy. Her baby was alive and her baby had a heartbeat, but her baby was on the fallopian tube. At 11 weeks her fallopian tube ruptured and she had to be rushed to the emergency room and they had to perform an abortion on her or she could have died, or if she had survived, she would have lost any chance to be a mother in the future. She was able to have a child after that, but it’s because, she had an abortion to save her life and her Fertility. I am a Christian, and I do NOT support any laws that outlaw abortion. Those laws CANNOT be regulated to protect a woman’s quality of life, such as her ability to have children in the future, and even her ability to physically function. Doctors will not intervene to save you in Florida.

We haven’t addressed how this is going to negatively impact transgender men. These are men who believe they are women. How will this impact them?
Of the 16 states in the South, nine have banned abortion. Florida joins Georgia and South Carolina with a six-week ban. This leaves just three states in this US Census region - Delaware, Maryland and Virginia - where abortion remains legal past the first trimester and North Carolina with a 12-week limit. The clinic in Florida is committed to staying open and providing care as long as it can - and ensuring that’s communicated well, Gavin said. It’s also preparing for the possibility of another change come November. Florida is one of three states, along with Maryland and New York, that has secured abortion measures on the 2024 election ballot. In Florida, the Amendment to Limit Government Interference with Abortion would protect the right to an abortion up to the point of “viability” or to protect the patient’s health as determined by their health care provider. Ten other states are considering adding abortion-related measures, some to protect access and others that could restrict access. The Tampa Bay Abortion Fund anticipates that at least 90% of people who call their hotline will be impacted by a six-week abortion ban and will need to seek abortion care outside of Florida. The Chicago Abortion Fund has bolstered programs and capacity in direct anticipation of this decision from Florida’s high court, and staffers estimate that they’ll need an additional $100,000 each month to absorb the surge of Floridians and other Southerners seeking support for an abortion.

A stricter abortion law that takes effect in Florida on Wednesday - dropping the state’s 15-week ban to a six-week ban - will likely affect thousands of people seeking abortion care within the first month alone. Florida has become a key abortion access point amid widespread restrictions that have taken hold in the region in the two years since the US Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade. It’s also one of the country’s most populous states. Last year, 1 of every 3 abortions in the South - and about 1 in every 12 nationwide - happened in Florida, according to data from the Guttmacher Institute, a research and policy organization focused on sexual and reproductive health that supports abortion rights. In 2023, there were about 7,000 abortions in Florida each month, and more than 9,000 people traveled from other states to get an abortion in Florida throughout the year, the data shows. Many women don’t know that they’re pregnant six weeks after their last menstrual period, and other states that have enacted laws with this early gestation limit saw significant cuts to abortion care. In Texas, the number of abortions provided within the formal health-care system dropped by about half after a six-week abortion ban took effect in 2021, and there were thousands more births than expected in the following year. In South Carolina, there was a 70% decrease in abortions just one month after the state enforced a six-week limit. But tighter restrictions in Florida could have an even more significant effect than historical trends suggest because Florida has been absorbing patients from other states that already have stricter limits. So far this year, more than 1,300 people from other states have traveled to Florida for an abortion, according to data from the state health agency - nearly a tenth of all abortions in the state so far in 2024.

Mandatory vasectomies is a very viable concept..... In terms of the big picture: 1. Stops unchosen pregnancy 2. Stops mental and physical life long scars on female children from unchosen pregnancy. 3. Stops young men from being held accountable to 18 years of child support by an unchosen pregnancy. 4. Stops fathers from going to jail for failure to make support payments. 5. Removes the need for social programs. Which, in my opinion will, over time, result in every single child being a chosen child and the return of the family unit with fathers in the home to raise their children and to give their sons a hands on role model. Jesus said "So it will be at the end of the age, the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire, in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:49-50. Jesus also said "You are my friends if you do what I command you." John 15:14. Jesus taught that the only way to be saved is to choose him as your Lord and Master, repent and believe that he died for the sins of his people on the cross see John 14:6.

I can quote the bible too: Hosea 13:16: "They will fall by the sword; their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open." "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." Psalm 137:9 2 Kings 15:16: "All the women therein that were with child he ripped up."
The question still remains....has Dumeecratic Justice Katangie finally figured out the definition of the word "WOMAN" yet?! 🤣

Don't Murder Your Children.
I am an atheist. I believe Human life begins at conception. This life has its own DNA and is separate from the Mother and the Father. Whether Human life happens by IVF or "natural means", I believe great care should be taken to preserve it. If you've had intercourse, you should presume you are pregnant and take a pregnancy test each month. Effective birth control should be used by every woman of childbearing age. If you find out you are pregnant and might not want your child after it's born, seek adoption options. Even if, and especially if, the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape, the girl/woman should file charges. If criminal charges are pursued, it might even stop the cycle of abuse and violence. Mental health should be available to help her through the issues brought about by these crimes. Is it safer for the Mother to not go through pregnancy and childbirth? Of course, it is, but so is staying in your home versus riding in a car to the store and a lot of everyday activities. Do I speak from experience? Yes. I am a birth mother. Do I wish she had never been born? Absolutely not! IMO, we need to come together to help women who are pregnant but don't want to be. We must teach reproductive responsibility. We must teach our young women to know the signs of pedophilia and rape. Planned Parenthood should be meant for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies and for the support of pregnant girls/women in crisis pregnancies.

But what about those who do file charges but law enforcement fails to believe them and do anything about it? This happens more times than what people think. Just like restraining orders mean nothing filing charges in most cases do nothing as well. So the responsibility of rape and incest does not solely fall on the victim only. Competent judges and those practicing law need to do their jobs. But I don’t have much faith in a system that has been doing women wrong for decades.
@kkbronson

@@EvangelismforGodThe responsibility should never fall solely on the women. Filing charges may not always help the first of many victims, but in my case, it did help. There was a woman who filed charges against the man who later stalked me broke into my home and brutally raped me. The man called collect from the jail several times. I told the detective about these calls, and he authorized the taping of three phone calls the rapists later made to me. The rapist was trying to convince me to drop the charges, but while doing so, he let out that he had raped that one girl. He also admitted within those three phone calls that he had broke in and raped me. During the trial, the Judge let the three phone calls be admitted and played back to the jury. I had filed a trespass warning against him too, but obviously, he ignored it. That was also admitted as evidence. The jury came back with a guilty verdict and shortly later he was sentenced to 27 years. It is my belief, that it is quite possible, that without the information filed by the first girl and me having a trespass warning, the jury may have come back with a not guilty as it would have been a "he said, she said" issue. We know of two other girls whose mother wouldn't file charges because she was afraid. So, he was definitely a serial rapist. How many more girls/women would there have been if I had not filed charges. Also, I do know what it's like not to be believed. Sadly, he wasn't the first...
Abortion is pure evil. I was raped and had a child that I raised in love. I never regretted it. If you become pregnant, adoption is always an option.

Good for you, but you don’t get to make that decision for other people. ESPECIALLY other victims.
Here are the euphemisms for killing babies in the womb: Reproductive Rights, Pro Choice, Health Care, Bodily Autonomy, etc. Whether done with a hook or a chemical, it's still just murder of the unwanted. These oh-so-hip. buzzword phrases deliberately reframe the issue of murdering babies to soften and obfuscate the reality and horror of this inhumane, brutal, unconscionable practice. Incest, rape and imminent danger to the mother are legitimate concerns and must be considered and should not be unilaterally outlawed, but these relatively few numbers pale in comparison to the overwhelming majority of baby murders done merely for convenience. It's a very sick society that murders their children. No, I'm not a Trumpist, not a Republican, and not a fan of the corrupt Supreme Court Jesters.
Abortion right ?Why don’t you prevent you from pregnancy? Read Four Books and Five classics of Confuciasm for moral stsndard.
Thank you DeSantis!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 .. If you don't have safe sex, you don't have the right to kill your kids.
BTW pregnancy is calculated from the 1st day of your last menstrual period. That means Week 1 could actually start 2 weeks before the sperm fertilized the egg. Ladies are you a couple days late? Sorry gotta flee the state
