CLUJ-NAPOCA (Cluj) Romania 🇷🇴 -The Unofficial Capital of Transylvania 2022
Cluj-Napoca (Cluj) is the second largest city in Romania. It is located in northwestern Romania and is known as the unofficial capital of Transylvania. Being a college town it comes with an abundance of restaurants, bars, and a wonderful craft beer scene to enjoy. There is plenty of history here as well, which dates back to the Hungarian and Saxon rule. One of the must-see locations in the central square is the Gothic-style St. Michael's Church. We really hope you enjoy exploring Cluj-Napoca with us.
Cheers!!!

welcome to Cluj Napoca ! I hope you will have a pleasant stay here in the capital of Transylvania. It is indeed a bigger city and except of the old town it lacks that cozy medieval town feel but on the other hand it has a lot more to offer in regards to social life, events, culture , museums, food & beer options. If you are staying longer it's worth taking a short trip into Apuseni mountains nearby, a hidden gem area of Europe. A large unspoiled wild areal of mountains , forrests, caves , wildlife and century old villages.

Second largest, as for the 2011 census. Forget the recent Iasi numbers, they're from a different way of counting , which takes into consideration who has an ID with the adress in that city. And the Iasi numbers are inflated by people from Moldova (the country) that also have Romanian citizenship and just arranged to have their ID adress in Iasi, while not really living there. There are hundreds of people scriptically living at a single adress.

Hi Kari! Romania definitely surprised us - such a beautiful country. Great questions! The video process does take longer than we maybe originally thought it would. But we also knew nothing about editing, filming or how KZread works, so there was SO much to learn (and still is). From the start it's a ton of learning and research, something we continue daily still. Then comes the process of planning, filming and editing a video - this does take quite a bit time, more than we originally thought it would but we still enjoy it so it's worth it 😊. Fortunately Brian and I get along very well and the moments of getting on each other's nerves isn't very often - considering we not only work together and spend 24/7 together I think we do pretty darn good 😊. Craft beer is a lot better than massed produce or commercial advertised beer. Once you expand your plate and find which types you like, you’ll finally understand. I’m from GA where we have 100+ craft beer makers, not everyone is good, but the are some great ones. Once I started drink different ipa’s & dark beer (porters & stouts) I find it very difficult to go back and drinking Pilsner or Lagers of any brand. Once you adjust your tastes buds to quality beer, it’s night and day different.
