I haven't actually started making this quilt yet, so in a way I think it is best I start when the tutorial is completed that way, I can make adjustments, but not to worry Lisa. I think it teaches us even more as we go along. It is perfectly fine so please don't less this stress you. favorite clue is the star center. I love it all.

All the best with your dental journey. I totally get the anxious feeling. Let's face it, most dental work isn't really fun. I know people who have had implants and, yes, they did have to be careful eating for a while, but the healing went well and because they now have a better bite they can enjoy eating better than before. Just think of your new beautiful smile! Thank you for all of the work you do to help us along our quilting road. This has been a fun project.

Oh! Forgot to wish you best of luck with your dental surgery! My sister had dental implants (not sure if youu are). It was A LOT - but in the end, it wasn't as bad as she feared, recovery wasn't long, and she is so happy with the outcome! All my best and 🙏. 🥰

Well it looks like I will need to do some shopping, I only have a yard left at this point. I have a question, if we use "Jack" we could recover some light fabric would it work for any of the upcoming pieces? Just a thought.

Yes, you could use the fabric if you picked apart clue 2 "wrong pieces".

Lisa, is it possible that you were shorted on the light pink fabric in your order? That has happened to me before! So, did you verify you received the correct amounts before you started cutting? Please don’t stress out. 🤗 It’s a beautiful quilt and this kind of thing happens to everybody. No worries. We’ll make do, like they did in the olden days! 😃 (Says the girl who didn’t start cutting yet! 😂)

PS: Have a safe surgery. I had some dental surgery and my mouth wasn’t sore very long at all. My body was sore from being in the same position for a long time and my jaw was sore from having my mouth open so long. But they arranged for a massage therapy right afterward. And then my friend who was also a massage therapist worked on my legs. Both of those sessions helped so much, for me to feel better! Obviously, where there is a sore spot in your mouth, be gentle. And don’t forget: Don’t swish vigorously bc then you might get a dry socket, and that would hurt! You don’t want to dislodge the blood clot that forms; it’s a protection to keep the air from getting to the sore spot, plus it’s part of the healing process. Some dentists forget to mention this. 😬 Oh, and put several layers of old toweling on your pillow at night, bc you might drool while sleeping. 😴 It’ll be fine! 😄

Lisa - on the fabric templates, is A missing or are they just ‘mislabeled’?

nothing is missing, and they are labeled correctly :) These templates make up an ENTIRE quilt block. Today, we are only piecing a PART OF the quilt block.....we are just not using the A template as part of clue 14
