I'm at the exact spot of taking a break. Spline is completely seized.. tried air tool vibrating, penetrating oil, pry bars, shaking, wiggling, praying, then gave up for the night and saw your video then it dawned on me I don't even need to remove armature.. I'm replacing one of my copper bolts and probably do brushes while I'm in there. Also for some reason I'm reading zero continuity between F1 and F2? 12v jumper motor test ran though so I'm confused.. thanks for posting!
Could have bought a fender washer and drilled the two holes and tap them. It is merely a bearing retainer... Thumbs Up!

Yep. But I needed it thick enough to be threaded.
This has been so helpful even though I haven't done anything yet. I think it tells me that I can change the bearing and magnet without taking the motor out and apart in my '03 48V electric club car that has a GE motor. Although it doesn't tell me how to get the original bearing off, I can take the wheel and wheel well off and start from there. I have a bearing puller but it might be awkward.

Get an occilating saw and run the side of it on the armature in a spot it wont hurt it-the vibration will loosen it

Hi. Thanks for the video. I am not sure what that bearing retainers purpose is? The shaft has a land to keep to the bearing from moving and the aluminum case also. Could it be for ease of assembly in the motor manufacturing process? Even during disassembly if the bearing remained on the shaft a bearing puller could take it off. My son has a cart like this that might need new brushes, this is why I am asking. Where can I get the brushes. Thanks

Sounds like it might be your controller.
So when I raised the back wheels turn but I set it down and they don't was this your experience
