the easiest way to explain cloud's combat style is being a parry god, ive seen so many people just rush in and spam attack while barely dodging when his entire shtick is reacting to his enemies movements and using it to his advantage. Definately top 5 best cloud gameplays ive seen so far.

Finally, someone who acknowledges clouds specialty. I think I've only seen one other person with a video like this. Cloud isn't a proactive fighter by nature, he's reactive. He's strongest this way. Good job dude.

honestly it makes sense. a weapon like the kind he uses while unrealistic would probably be best suited as a defensive weapon. i mean its essentially a bladed heavy shield.

You should practice counterstance as it deal much more damage than parry and disorder to switch stance instead of pressing triangle it save few seconds and make your combo much smoother

Not quite sure why it does, but i think focused thrust works too, it might just be hitting Seph with a sword ability in general. I chose disorder because it does refund some ATB. Hope this helps.

Don’t your fingers get tired of all the buttons smashing?

When i first played remake, i never used materia. I literally only did slashes and abilities. Cloud i basically only used braver and i dont remember anyone else but i literally only slashed in that game. Idk how i did that cause i use magic so much now on rebirth

So..not that I want to be that “erm actually” kind of guy but It’s actually decided by what you do in the boss before sephiroth with each character, it’s basically a point system, any character (besides cloud obviously) using an item/ability/spell will gain points and the character with the most points will be the first to join the fight Besides barret, he has to come second for some reason Aerith gains a lot more points so she’s almost guaranteed to join the sephiroth battle

Haha, no i-frames sucks. For Aeolian Onslaught it’s better to dodge a bit earlier vs at the last millisecond.

It’s his highest physical attacking one. All the weapons are quite balanced in Remake, hard to pick an “ultimate” one.

It’s an improved mechanic in Intergrade where holding down the block button in Punisher mode, Cloud has a much faster animation getting back into a “countering stance” from attacks

Honestly i hated hardmode only for the fact that i felt like i had to do it cus some stuff is "locked" behind the mode

The only thing that was really odd was that the items were completely redundant and you couldn't use them on hard mode just felt off that you could pick up and collect potions and phoenix downs but not use them

Ill be honest i also dont use counter that often...until i fight the final boss.. the spirit has too many hit check so i need to focus and not waste time, then sepiroth makes dodge sometimes useless with his wide range attacks. Was suprised to see some people dont play like this also

Nice, but I always found Sephiroth easier than The Harbringer of Fate . If we are talking difficulty then the Combat training against Pride and Joy is the most difficult challenge for me but only because of Bahamut. If we are talking nemisis in Remake then it is any form of Bahamut. I just have my problems with him and fate Bahamut. But nothing is as difficult as the Push and Pull- Up challenges... The Tifa one took me 6 hours to beat.

Harbinger is just a filthy unfair battle. On my first playthrough, Bahamut definitely felt harder than Sephiroth. On Hard mode, I’d say Sephiroth has the potential to be much harder if you keep your distance (especially P3 - Lightning Infusion). I guess he really likes Cloud and will go easier on you if you stay with close combat 😂

yes the 3 fate hits like a fucking trunks i manage to only die to hell house 3 times cause i got tonberry the first time around , was not expecting that loll , then onmy 2nd I change weapon or something and the materia didnt comes equip or some shit , i could have reset there but still went into fighting it, and then finally i got tonberry at the very end of last phase with a double kill on cloud and aerith with both tonberry hitting each character in that 1 hit K0 . But even if i didnt die to harbringer of fate , that fight give me nightmares more then Sephiroth fight
