@@matthewbrunner3454I don’t think it is necessarily, but limit breaks give you I-frames while you’re doing them so by timing Jump + Planet’s the guy just avoided it

If all the 3 parts of the Re:trilogy are merged like some reunion. That one singular game will be bigger than Breath of the Wild and tears of the kingdom combined or Elden ring and Baldur's gate 3. Maybe one day in the future, you can play the Re: trilogy as one single game with consistent leveling system and consistent graphic fidelity without the game crashing from how big it is.

@@soku330 In part 3 you'll probably get all the things that exist in the previous parts. But other than that, the balancing will be broken. Even in tears of the Kingdom, Link seemingly lost all his progress and even have his iconic master sword broken in the first 5 minutes of the game.

​@@bruhm0ment6000 i mean there's things like you can't get the gotterdammerung twice from the remake and rebirth. Also the item transmuter is a sneak peak to the ultima weapon synthesis as the last item to craft while you have to craft everything like for the genji items and the ultima weapon in kh1 used to beat the other weapons and omnislash sephiorth. Rebirth also has some portions of Midgar to explore too, i'm sure in part 3 there will also be an open world underwater around the seas we've been traveling around with the tiny bronco. I wonder in the Wutai section will follow a irl trope for keeping foreigners out of japan as a message for westerners since Yuffie discussed it with Cloud and she will be heart broken as soon as she comes back to her home seeing it as a touristy country

The Jump usage was a stroke of brilliance that I feel like people are sleeping on. Not only does it save Cloud from Heartless Angel - which Planet Protection would not have protected him from, Aerith was only immune because Limit Breaks protect you from all damage during the animation - but his return is perfectly timed so he drops in right after the double Thundaga, like Aerith summoned him as part of the spell, lol.

Heartless Angel is a physical attack? I’ll have to remember that for Hard Mode. It was the only part of this fight that really got me on the back foot.

Important note that at the beginning of the Cloud solo phase against the large Sephiroth, he seems to always start with Heartless Angel, then follow up with an attack that kills you. As such, I'd recommend giving Cloud Gotterdammerung so he can abuse limit break invincibility to survive the hit

@@suitonsuiryudan Ah, that may be it. Limits do make you invincible during the animation (unlike Synergy Abilities) so are useful for avoiding damage like that.

Nah he used immunity. Youre immune when casting limit break. Jump also takes you out of the fight for a period of time(when alone u instantly come back down but with a party member u can stay up for a while). So he completely negated heartless angel.

Just press r1 to block at the exact moment the enemy attacks. It's a perfect parry.
