Im sorry but this is anything but "natural"....Clouds mind is so effed up right now. To be honest, that last cutscene in Rebirth made me uncomfortable af bc of how weird Cloud is acting. It turned the cute moment from Remake into a scary one.

A lot of women don't like Aerith because she is very feminine. And those women get triggered by the idea of a woman being feminine. They want a masculine heroine that aligns with them - they want to be like men. And as for those guys who like Tifa so much and hate Aerith (hate is a strong word), all they see is boobs. They don't care about a woman's personality.

Because there are people who prefer Tifa over Aerith. It's a matter of personal taste. And the player assumes the role of Cloud. Think! If you prefer a girl over another and your friends keep shipping you with the one you don't like, then how would you feel? It's not about the story or canon. It's a personal dream / fantasy, especially childhood's fantasy.

Small correction. Only americans prefer Cloud and Tifa. Everywhere else Cloud and Aerith dominates. Especially in Japan.

Protect her Cloud. Aerith although she says she is strong, she wants to feel safe. I love how Cloud can easily smile when Aerith is near him. He smiles after he meets her.

I feel robbed of Cloud and Aerith . I now that its sad love story. Im ok with it. But I'm just tired of how every second person just doesn't want to accept their story. I blame Crisis core for this. Not only is it a bad game with undeveloped characters, but it also poisons the perception of the story of one of the most legendary relationships with incredibly strong depth.

I mean even before this, even if you don't get the date at the gold saucer, they still have a date in the alternate Midgard, they have a beautiful time, the only moment when Cloud's mind is kinda clear. There Aerith confesses that she likes him, and it is an entire conversation about liking someone and liking liking haha. Oh, and after they fight Sephiroth they hold hands, and it is in a more romantic way, not platonic. So yeah... They like eachother... Both ships are canon

Because some are in denial and want to live the fantasy that Aerith only exists as a character in CC and that Cloud lives and breaths to be horny for Tifa lol That's the power of what shipping bias will do. 😅

I like that he sighs and rolls his eyes when she crawls into the slide because he thinks she's messing with him again, but then he looks away guiltily because he realizes he misjudged her.

Cloud x Aerith is canon now & forever

Everyone is always so obsessed with Tifa , to me Aerith will always be where Cloud's heart is. Of course that probably goes back to me playing the orignal when it was new (yeah I'm that old) I was sure she was going to ride the skywheel with me, imagine my surprise when Red xiii showed up at my door. I can't wait to see how they wrap up the story and if the multiple realities merge or stay separate. Either way I hope Aerith makes it.

This is probably one of the saddest lovestories I've ever heard in fictional media. That's what makes it memorable in my opinion. Cloud was super emo and heartbroken in Advent Children. So much that he was avoiding and ghosting many of his allies and friends because he couldn't bear the death of Aerith because he loved her. They definitely will bring her back in the Remake version but in another timeline in my opinion so that Cloud could reunite with Aerith once again.

Another parallel I notice is when Aerith says "Don't worry its like a second Home". It's very similar to what she said in The Resolution Scene in Remake about the Shinra Building. But we all know Aerith doesn't really mean that. An if Aerith if views Death as a second home. Than Aerith doesn't really mean that either.

@@AlanNienow I need to figure this worlds/timelines thing out cause honestly that explanation by Sephiroth went way the fuck over my head. Is she dead? Is she alive? Why can only Cloud see her? Why can he only see the crack? Also it seems that this time Cloud will have the Black Materia the whole time and he’ll give it to Sephiroth. Though I also want to know how his identity crisis will play into the timeline theory and that whole thing with Tifa, we still didn’t ‘see’ the scar. I swear if Tifa is also dead, look it’s enough that Aerith is dead but apparently ‘not so really’ but if Sephiroth is telling the truth and Tifa really did die in nibelheim- oh my god, I just thought of something. The whole thing with the Black Cloaks is that they were hojo’s experiment for the Reunion Theory about how Jenova would ‘rebuild’ herself. What if she isn’t Jenova? What if it’s just a Black Cloak that assumed Tifa’s identity? I’m sorry I know I’m going all over the place but this game is truly complex. They really made us remember just how much of a mind fuck the game is but also they increased the mind fucking by a fuck ton.

When fates are breached, new worlds are formed as Sephy said. She's alive in the world created when Cloud saved her. Or she's alive in our same Rebirth world before Sephy merged worlds together which overrode her existence, replacing her with her death from the other worlds. If the worlds unmerge, then she comes back in our Rebirth world...I hope. I hope we see her send up smoke somehow.

Tifa is only nice girl for cloud. Boring, toxic (Lies). Aerith is very good for her personality

Yes, they have beautiful moments together. But they are so fleeting and illusive, they might as well have not been real. Clerith has a place to be only in our imagination...unfortunately. It was a risky idea to play with from the beginning, and SE were actually considering reviving her, then they realized it would mess up the plot severely, so they dunked it and just went with Cloud's guilt complex over her death. Clerith can't even get a decent burial.

The Aerith at the end of rebirth is reusing old lines because it’s Jenova mimicking Cloud’s memories of her. At least maybe anyway
