Thankfully she survived in 2 of the timelines! I can't remember what dog stamps, but cloud will fully save her in the third part with Zacks help. But I understand you.....

Aerith is my most favorite character in FFVII, so I'm happy to see this video.

@@hakore906 Physically in the Beagle world, yes. If Cloud manages to stop Sephiroth, she wouldn't be chased by him in other worlds when she wakes up.

@@sjneow He never let go. But that's also a problem of his. Aerith confirms many times, both in cutscenes and during the play, that she doesn't need to be protected nor saved. Cloud has to let her go and focus on stopping Sephiroth. That's the only way. Luckily this time, Cloud got the message right.

Cloud wont forget her until the last of his days. If there isn't an official novel yet about his life in old age, there should be one. I always imagined him taking a liking to Chocobos and becoming - a kind of- warrior, Chocobo sage when he's older..., spending most of his days traveling, especially the world's mysterious and spectral places: like Cosmo Canyon, The City of the Ancients and the Northern Crater...occasionally dropping by Midgar/Edge to reunite with old friends, check on Tifa whom with Reeve's help became quite the ruthless business magnate, taking over most of Wall Market and lustrating and legalizing it's main sources of revenue, made it into an official night time entertainment district. Marlene, now a grown young woman, a very eco friendly planetologist who spends most of her young career promoting green Mako use (lol...as the ancients would've used materia, only for edicational and celebratory purposes.) Constantly scolding her dad for being a poser, because after siscovering an oilfield nearby, his struggle for the planet became mostly symbolic. The rest of the gang, consistently busy with their personal lives, leaving an occasional message on the answering machine. One of these days, though when Cloud was resting his back against the a flower cushion on a bright daisy field east of Midgar. He heard a familiar voice, humming a familiar melody. Blowing aside bangs of whitish, spikey hair from his face and spitting out the spikelet of wheat from between his teeth, Cloud sighed. "I've never heard anything so beautiful and sad at the same time" - He murmured, in a mature, deep voice...so much different from that of his youth. The gentle nymphic voice that uttered the hymn landed on a soft pause, replaced by a more enduring tembre. "Yeah..My mom sang it to me when we weren't able to sleep at night. It's a spiritual of the old faith that echoed across continents on a very special night, that our ancestors called 'Reunion' night. An ancient festival that celebrated the return of the deceased to the planet". The night when she was finally defeated. "My mind is the only thing about me that doesn't seem to age gracefully. If I look at you, will you look different than what I remember?" - muttered the old warrior under his breath as he raised himself into a sitting pisition, revealing two glowing ice chips from under two protruding eye ridges that adorned a well chiselled, brow beaten forehead. "I am different...Look at me, Cloud. I have changed. And so have you" - Aerith's spectre now speaking in a more mature and rooted tone, finally stepping into the light of dusk behind Cloud. Whisps of long, grayish, white hair dangling in the light breeze and brushing against a soft and gentle countenance that only slightly bore signs of old age.
