Close Loop Stepper motor | Arduino project
Ғылым және технология
Hello friends In this video I have made a close loop stepper motor
The term "closed-loop" in the context of a NEMA 17 stepper motor refers to the addition of a feedback system, typically an encoder or a sensor, to the motor setup. This feedback loop enables the motor to accurately track its position, speed, and torque, making it ideal for applications that require precise motion control. The closed-loop NEMA 17 stepper motor can constantly adjust its actions to maintain the desired position and minimize the risk of missed steps or loss of synchronization. This technology is especially valuable in situations where reliability and precision are crucial, such as CNC machines, 3D printers, and automated systems.
To achieve close loop functionality I have attached a slotted disc encoder at back side of motor.

realy cool projekt. how about a dc brushless motor and a gearbox with an diy encoder😊
Awesome! Great ingenuity and craftsmanship!
Lovely ingenious work. Your posts are always a delight.
tres bien !!Merci !!
Well Done !
You are creative bro
You are good Bro!
Did you use the arduino PID library?
Brutal 👌 🎉
nice
teşekkül
Very nice. But did you noticed the SERVO42C? and a couple of days ago, i found a new projekt with bigger goals then servo42c. If i can find the projects name, i will post it here. Respect for your work and sharing the great video. (Edit) Found the video. Search for CLN17 15$ and also for SERVO42c. (There are a 'd' version also available. I decided to buy the 42c, because it fits perfektly into my hypercube evolution. Btw. This 42c servo is unbeleavable. Extremly silent motion of the servos. In my opinion quieter then tmc2209 drivers. Both systems are closed loop. And very compact. You can mount it directly behind the motor, where the magnetic orientation sensor sits. On the axis they glued a small magnet. And the sensor resolution is 14 bot or more. I forgot the exact data.
This is one of the projects I always wanted to make but never had the time, great job sir! Could you please share the code?
Brilliant! Could you share the schematic and the code, please?
you didnt show wiring , connections
I think a cigarette rolling machine could be a very nice project.
Hi, Thanks a lot, its really greate effort and great knowledge. i need to do a project for a preset position linear actuator with a DC motor abd a stepper motor, with Arduino Mega or UNO but i am not able to write the code and the scheme, can you please help. Regards
How do the encoder know if it rotates cw or ccw?

Inside the optical sensor there are two segments, A and B, this forms the quadrature, increasing or decreasing the value. With that, you already know the direction of the rotation.
Genial
I think a cigarette rolling machine could be a very nice project. Suggestion for a follower who watches with pleasure :)
YOU KNOW SISTEM MAGNETIC SENSOR: MKS SERVO57C PCBA placa Nema 23 loop fechado stepper Servo motor?
Can you share the arduino code? Thank you.
It's just stupid that the motor has now lost its power, now you can no longer use it as a 0.39nm motor, if it is only 0.15nm. This is because the magnetic forces have been removed.
IM BEGGING YOU TO MAKE AND EXPLAIN THE SAME WITH DC MOTOR. ALMOST NO TUTORIAL ON INTERNETS!

It seems like you have never visited my channel. :) I have both closed-loop DC motor and stepper motor tutorials. And instead of showing random clips, I also explain everything.
