I think it's great that you guys give them the option that you know a company that will come in and clean as like a referral I don't know if you guys make anything off that but either way it's great that you guys give that option to them if their place did back up and it's kind of like a disaster. Good job as always guys

We have a tight group of professionals that we keep in a circle that pass work to each other. I can get anything fixed, from roofs, windows, carpet to driveways. And know there gonna be taken care of.

I came in at 12:31. I thought you were giving King Kong a colonoscopy!🤡 Seriously, I have a mini-trap in my upstairs apt. I'm trying one more clog remover, and if it doesn't work, I'll have to get in there.

Hi, Thanks for the content and your expertise. I saw the comment below about your making of the 5' drill powered 1/2" cable snake. What cutter head did you use? Any info (brand, or model number) would be appreciated.

Hello @joelh1322 We use Brand Duracable. You can find them at duracable.com. Tell them Drainmedic sent you. For making what we call the trap jumper/cleaner. There 1/2" hollow core cable with male end. For a 4" building trap we use a pear 3" blades on end. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. (Bob)

Hey lady, thanks for the vid. When you are jetting a line just for cleaning/ maintenance, is it better to start off at the city side and pull the jetter backwards or is it better to start at the trap and work towards the city pipe? I ask this cause , if you start at the trap side, then u might have junk flowing towards the city side and clog the drain. Of course, you can unclog that junk later, but it might just be a risk. What da u think?

Hey Zmars Shelly wanted me to answer this one (Bob) But Shelly says Hello. This in no way shape or form is the correct way to do it. Its just how I do it. Start with chisel nozzle it has 3fw 4rs jets from the cleanout to the city. This jets the big stuff first pass. Pull jet hose back. 2nd pass i use a 6r jet nozzle. Get it to the city sewer. Pull back very slow. Every 5 feet shut jet pressure off to let water drain. Once your back to the clean out. Repeat 2nd time. Then video inspect. How do you do it?

And that's why that configuration is illegal to install in Chicago. Idk what inspector ever thought this would be a good idea.

@@DrainMedic well, there isn't any traps randomly in a sewer system. Our traps are on every floor drain and sink ect. For an overhead sewer it just runs out the wall and there's one plug for access. About 150 years ago we had running traps out near the streets connected to the residential main, but I've only seen 2 of them in my 32 years drain cleaning.
