The Big Breakfast clock. A cruel reminder of how long you had before you had to leave for school.

My favorite author of all time, i didn't even read until i read Clive, he inspired me to start reading about 15years ago , I first read The Hellbound heart, because of Hellraiser which i loved as a kids, and nightbreed was awesome, but when i decided to pic up The Damnation Game it changed my life forever, then Weaveworld, made me a reader for life, ive read and own everything he has, and after that I've about 5000 other books now, he inspired me to read period. It's why i made myself look like a Cenobite for my little channel picture, yep thats me.

Estos días ví muchas entrevistas a Clive Barker. Es un tipo encantador. Me apena mucho que sus entrevistadores hayan sido por lo general gente tan frívola y hueca.

When I was younger I use to hope that I would have a nightmare so when I woke up I could draw pictures of them. It was like taking pieces from another world back with me. Sadly when I got a little older I put all my journals into a trash bag and filled it with water and through them all away

You know what I think is incredible? Clive says, " The desire to be straight, the desire to be normal." And the statement went over the woman's head. lol.

the borderline illiteracy and fixation with other's loins that is so pervasive in the current generation is showing in this comment. There was nothing to go over Paula's head.

Paula Yates interviewing in the most boring way possible. Barker sounds like George Harrison. His Scouse accent mixed with the weird LA accent.

40yo is not that old though. Sly stallone was like 42 qhen he made rambo 3 and still looked young. After 50 you'll start getting old. Dont waste time on thinkong you are "old" if you are in your 20's 30's or 40's. It's a wate of time.

She was really looking for a piece, wasn't she? Anyhoo, in response to some convo here Barker hasn't said it publicly but he was probably living with HIV at this point. The period when he started getting buff was to prevent body waste and he was clearly on steroids to help that process along. The way he looks now, 30 years older than he actually is, is the clearly the result of him no longer taking those steroids and being able to sustain the same exercise regimen. He may or may not have full blown AIDS at this point.

Clive has suffered illness in recent years and was in a coma for a while... he looks very old now and frail. As to his accent, he has lived a large part of his life in America so his accent was bound to change I guess. Love him whatever 💕

He moved out of Liverpool in the 70's and didn't really have a prominent Scouse accent to begin with. I'm not even sure I'd want him to sound like a ridiculous Scouse twat anyway, the accent generally annoys me and I'm Scouse!
