CLINT EASTWOOD: Chrysler Commercial narrated by Clint Eastwood Its Half Time America
Ойын-сауық
Chrysler's Commercial, narrated by Clint Eastwood, gives a hope filled message about the hardship in America. He ends the pep talk by saying "This country can't be knocked out in one punch. We get back up again, and when we do, the worlds is gonna hear the roar of are engines".

His "Yeah..." made my day.
One of the two firemen in the commercial has been a good friend of mine for over 30 years and was a fireman at the time, since retired. He wasn't aware of what the footage was being used for until it aired, and then his phone blew up from all of the calls. It's a great commercial.

We need Eastwood’s words here in 2020.
This is the most powerful car commercial I have ever seen. This is the ad that choked me up, gave me chills, and drove me to Windsor Chrysler the next day to buy my Hurst Challenger. This commercial aired during halftime of the 2012 Super Bowl. I rewound it at least 5 times to watch it again on the PVR in utter disbelief how something could be so positive, resilient, patriotic, local, trans-generational and inspiring. It encompassed the fighting spirit of North America fighting back from the near Depression of 2008, and subliminally the firefighters and speech about coming together almost hint at the resiliency of people post 9/11. The directing, the lighting, Clint Eastwood's brilliant narration, the hints of the lines of the gorgeous Challenger, and the return to something recognisable. Being that it was themed around the good ol' Motor City it pulls at a local guy's heart strings. Still gives me chills to this day. One of the most memorable moments of my life. Thank you Dodge. #MisterMopar #ChallengerLife #HurstLyfe

You were part of the millions of people that brought these two companies back from the bailout and that’s a beautiful thing. Seeing Americans rally together and bring back the domestic automotive industry is something I’ve studied and researched for many years after high school. You weren’t brainwashed, you believed in something good. While I drive Ford, I pushed for domestic vehicles even if I didn’t own them. Good on you for what you did. Fuck the naysayers.

This commercial is so inspiring that it's makes me proud of America, and I am not an American
I often think of this commercial when I see what's going on in the U.S. today. It was an earnest effort and a nice attempt to encourage a comeback, but it ultimately fell on deaf ears. No one was inspired by it and nothing changed for the better. In fact, the U.S. has become so much more divided and internally hostile that it makes one nostalgic for the days in which this ad was released. In the future, this may be used as an illustration of how, at this point, the U.S. was too far gone to actually save itself; not even the best pep talks could encourage the people to give up their hatred of each other. It makes this commercial more of a melancholy experience than anything else.
I actually saw this commercial during a workshop, and I found this very inspiring about life in general

It’s halftime in America again
yeah America it's halftime
Never get tired of this commercial
Great video Clint....wish it would air now! 2019
This commercial is truer now than ever before in American history.
It's halftime. Both teams are in their locker room discussing what they can do to win this game in the second half. It's halftime in America, too. People are out of work and they're hurting. And they're all wondering what they're going to do to make a comeback. And we're all scared, because this isn't a game. The people of Detroit know a little something about this. They almost lost everything. But we all pulled together. Now Motor City is fighting again. I’ve seen a lot of tough eras, a lot of downturns in my life, and times when we didn’t understand each other. It seems that we’ve lost our heart at times, when the fog of division, discord, and blame made it hard to see what lies ahead. But after those trials, we all rallied around what was right, and acted as one. Because that’s what we do: We find a way through tough times, and if we can’t find a way, then we’ll make one. All that matters now is what’s ahead. How do we come from behind? How do we come together? And, how do we win? Detroit’s showing us it can be done. And, what’s true about them is true about all of us. This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines. Yeah, it’s halftime, America. And our second half is about to begin.
The last of the real men out there. He speaks the truth. Our Country needs to unite and not be part of the cool crowd of always being against something. If we were truly united, watch our world. And for those below stating how Fiat owns Chrysler, nothing speaks American like the Wrangler, pickups, the Challenger nameplate, Hemi, and crossplane V8’s. Those existed before Fiats purchase. Like I said above, stop being part of the cool crowd being against everything. Best of luck in the future, Detroit.
