Clinical trial testing the SYMBYX light therapy helmet for Parkinson's
Ғылым және технология
The San Director of Research, Neurologist, Dr Geoffrey Herkes (MBBS, PhD, FRACP) led a team of scientific researchers on a clinical trial testing the efficacy of the SYMBYX Neuro (red light therapy and infrared helmet) for Parkinson's symptoms in Sydney in 2022/23. In this video, Dr Herkes and co-lead research investigator, Dr Ann Liebert (PhD), explain the trial and discuss how in this instance, light therapy can work as a complementary treatment in managing Parkinson's symptoms.
The device tested in this clinical trial is the SYMBYX Neuro. symbyxbiome.com/products/symb...

My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s ’ and is undergoing treatment with light therapy. The result has been a dramatic improvement using a whole range of objective measures. In the case of my wife, this is an n=1 experiment, however the magnitude of the improvement is large and obvious to all family and friends. Don’t rubbish this technology. It is very important and will, once it is fully proven, make a huge difference.

@@vm6674 we are using a Neuradient 1070 by Neuronic Ltd. This isn’t a cure, but my wife in brighter and more lucid after she has used it.
This is brilliant! Thank you for such a good study and fantastic results. Photobiomodulation is here to stay!
Dr Geoffrey Herkes, you are going to make amazing changes to peoples lives. Congratulations.
Great work! I follow Dr. Michael Hamlin who has authored over 500 peer reviewed publication on photobiomodulation and learned so much for ALL parts of the body since this effects Mitochondria, the engine of every cell in the body, especially in Brain and heart with the highest concentration. I was able to Post heart transplant resolve my intense peripheral neuropathy due to med side effects within less than 2 months after being confirmed to have it by my Neurologist. The treatment was a retail off the shelf pair of slippers w/ both 66nm red and 880nm near Ir used 30min / 2x Day. My Endrochronologist is planning on taking my results and implementing it with his diabetic patients. I have a red / near IR hat being used my my sister for a rare neurodegenerative condition [ PCA ] and its certainly delaying the intensified projected decline.

I say said the same for all these devices. Poor Michael J Fox. His team must know of all this, I hope.
Will thus helmet works for parkinsons plus +?
I wonder what the difference of lights the hair loss helmets have on neuro .. or what is difference between putting red light panel on head vs this?
Interesting! What were the physio & other exercises used in the SYMBYX Rx protocol?
@symbyxbiome
Жыл бұрын
Hi, there were no exercises tested in this study. This was a double-blind RCT testing the efficacy of the SYMBYX Neuro only. If it was tested with exercise, we wouldn't be as confident that the changes came from only the Neuro helmet!

Are you thinking about other indications like dystonia?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately our current research does not support light therapy for dystonia, though we do intend on researching and developing products for other indications in the future. We will definitely share with the public if we have any updates regarding this.

@@alancox236 Hi Alan, this article may help: symbyxbiome.com/blogs/symbyx-blog/boosting-mental-acuity-the-surprising-benefits-of-light-therapy The SYMBYX Neuro is a wellness device specifically designed with cognitive wellness and mental acuity in mind, but there is currently insufficient research that concretely links it with memory. We will definitely share research when it becomes available. Hope this helps.
this is a big BALONEY sandwich .... 1. how come the doc doesn't say HOW MANY people participated in the trial? 2. how come the doc never states the UPDRS results for his "participants"? ...
