Of the thousands of studies done to date on light therapy, no serious adverse effects have ever been reported. Some people with sensitivity to light therapy experience symptoms of dysautonomia which may include increase in tremor, shakiness, and fatigue, but which is easily resolved by taking a break from the therapy and then reintroducing it at a lower dosage.
