I’m a Lice Technician in New York City. I use a Lice comb with water and conditioner and oil. Never used this heat machine. I prefer my lice comb, to comb them out. I love my job as much as it grosses people out. It is oddly satisfying for me and I’ve never left a household with Lice. Yes I travel for an even better experience, in the comfort of your own home, school, office, Grandma’s house etc. It’s a process, but my clients love the combing part. They love how the comb feels in their hair as I comb. It makes them feel very relaxed. And even better the Lice/ Nit free result in the end. Because lice move slowly, don’t jump, can’t fly..you’re not gonna get them just being close to someone that has them.

Love don’t jump or fly. They crawl quickly so it’s ok it Cher hair is down. I’d pick it up if I were her though. Because you never know if one crawls up your arm while getting rid of lice. It never happened but it’s always best to be safe
